Very Hot! Did I say very hot? It was and the 5.38 miles that we walked brought enough sweat to soak us. The trail is interesting and well kept. Not many people and fairly easy, other than the heat.

The spanish moss trail is nice for cycling, although there's not much going on: It leads you through woods and water, occasionally along a highway, and back. Mostly no shade.

We were visiting and staying at a B&B in Beaufort. We biked to port royal vis the Spanish moss trail. It was fantastic. Very good experience. It would be nice if they finished the path all the way to downtown port royal.

This is a great asset for Beaufort, SC, and very accessible with parking stations at several points along the way. Get water views and bike, walk or run without having to dodge cars. Pet friendly too.
