We were here during the Water Festival so it was very crowed with people setting up for the festival. Its a very pretty park. We enjoyed strolling along enjoying ice cream and sitting on the swings.

Good for early or late day visits to make the most of your time. Very pretty place and picnic areas with great views of the water. Play ground could get very hot, and perhaps dangerous during the heat of the day (some metal play equipment). Nice rest rooms are available, also.

The Waterfront Park makes the downtown experience! Well laid out and well maintained, this park makes downtown fun and accessible to everyone. The Park reminds me of a nicer River Street in Savannah. A plethora of swings and palmetto tree-lined sidewalks make for a great evening walk in downtown.

Beautiful views, great shops downtown, a great laid back atmosphere. Just very hot this time of year. I think next time we will come in the spring or fall.

The park is designed to take advantage of the water views and the lovely breezs. There is a large, fenced children's area where they can run, play, slide etc and in general burn off some of the energy theyve been storing in the car. It is only steps from several waterfront restaurants and most have outdoor seating so you can... More

Come into town via Bay Street from Ribaut Rd to get the best view going down the bluff. There is convenient metered community parking next door. Enjoy swinging as you look out on the Bay and Intracoastal Waterway. The kids can play in their own playarea too. Check out the Woods swingbridge in operation which goes to Lady's Island. The... This is a charming, safe and beautiful part of Beaufort, with wonderful views. Fun for romantic couples and families alike with lots of shady places to sit, places to enjoy a picnic lunch and watch the boats and occasional dolphins. The "porch swings" are a nice touch! You're also just steps away from downtown shops and multiple cafes and restaurants... More

Best way to start your time in Beaufort and Low Country because it gives your a great overview of the history in a beautiful setting. There is enough shade that you can do it on a hot summer day.

What a beautiful place to sit a morning cup of coffee, have lunch or enjoy the sunset. All kinds of boats pass going up and down the intracoastal waterway. There are many festivities going on almost every weekend here.
