This small but beautiful park is right along the waterfront of the Harbor River in downtown Beaufort and is perfect for families, couples, kids, young and old alike. So nice to see families at play, people walking dogs, people watching people, people swinging in park swings, eating ice cream or gelato from one of the many shops along the promenade... More

Beautifully maintained park--great for a relaxing stroll by the water, with plenty of benches and (adult) swings, so you can sit and watch the birds and the water.

We live in Beaufort and the waterfront is one of our favorite places to go. It's right next to the water and right next to Bay St. which has lots of good restaraunts and shopping. Also within walking distance of the historic homes and churches. Dog friendly-many stores on Bay St. have water bowls, and will give your dog treats.... More

It was a quick walk from Bay street to the waterfront park as it wraps around. We walked down and found it to be charming, but just a little chilly without a jacket.

Beautiful waterfront park, this park ties the whole Beaufort downtown together. Stroll along the walkways and take in the gorgeous views of the Marina and River.

The park is beautiful. The boats on the waterfront and the swings where you can sit and enjoy the calm keeps us coming back. It's a nice place to walk after eating or to just relax.

So pretty, love walking along the waterfront. Great place to take pictures and enjoy the scenery. Watching the bridge open for a larger boat intrigued my grandchildren.

We have visited Beaufort several times and always make time for a stroll down this boardwalk. It is definitely an asset to the town. Parking is a bear but then you have access to the entire town

Today we took our kids and grandkids to downtown Beaufort, SC for some shopping and family time. We utilized the public parking lot adjoining the downtown park ($1/hr, 11:00am-7:00pm). First stop was the playground at the east end of the beautiful waterfront. Our grandkids enjoyed the swings, slides, climbing apparatus and amenities...all fenced in to provide privacy, security and safety.... More

We ate at one of the restaurants overlooking the park and had a wonderful time. We took time to walk the full length of the park and rested on one of the many bench swings. Very impressive.
