I found these folks on groupon and I couldn't wait to try it out. At first I was questioning if it would be funny or just awkward, but it's nothing but great performances! They all are very outgoing and extremely creative.
The audience gets to participate in many different ways and eventually, everyone becomes comfortable to shout out suggestions and ideas when it's the time to do so.
I would highly recommend the 9PM show (the one I went to) and I will definitely be back!! Great job guys!!

Me and my Uncle saw the 7pm with the kids involved and the 9pm show that was PG13! They were fantastic!! I compare them to Drew Carey's, "Who's Line Is It!", PG13 is better than the under 18 version for sure. The price you pay for the show is great and if you stay for both shows the price is exceptional!! I would recommend this to anyone! The BYOI members were great but adding the audience members make it hilarious at times!!! It's a must see!!! It takes place in Apponaug in the Warwick Museum.

I went to both the 7 and 9 pm shows and had an absolute blast! The performers are pros who know how to keep an audience laughing. The amount of audience participation is fantastic. This is a well run show, an amazing value for the price and something anyone visiting the area should see.

We went to the 9 p.m. show with our 12 and 15 year-olds. The humor was more adult, but more so in terms of the topics, not in terms of raunchiness. They got everyone involved and our son who said we were "dragging him to something he would hate" actually got up on stage and had a great time. They were very responsive to questions I asked via email and the tickets are inexpensive. My only suggestion is that it would have been nice to have a slightly longer introduction. We wondered how these people got together and what kind of backgrounds they had--maybe one more minute of explanation would have been nice. We were very glad we went and would definitely go to another show!

We went to the Friday night family show with our 11 and 8 year olds. Every skit includes audience members participating on stage. The BYOI members are very funny and great with the kids! A great little find in Apponaug!

Such a great time, whether you go to the family show on a Sunday evening or the adult show Friday nights, the cast will get you laughing and support you if you feel like trying to step up and play along. And no show is ever the same, so you have to keep going back to see what the cast and audience can come up with next. Check it out, you won't regret it :-)

I highly recommend the adult workshop with Daniel. It was a 6-week workshop and the content was tailored specifically for our group. In the first class, Daniel asked us why we were taking the class and what we were looking to gain. He was then able to develop each two-hour session to help accomplish our goals. The classes were a blast and I definitely felt I accomplished my personal goals. If you're thinking about taking an improv class, BYOI is your place! Also, great location with plenty of parking.

Many of your standard bits, but also some highly original stuff! The night we went a random audience member was chosen for a bit (sitting very close to me) and at the end of the sketch one of the troupe members proposed to her (and she said YES!).

Was very unexpected and touching. Show would have been great without that, but how cool was that!?!?!?

I myself am an aspiring actress and I knew the adult Acting and Improv class would be a great fit , and was I perfectly correct! Daniel was the teacher and he was amazing , he took into consideration what all the students ( adults ) wanted out of the class , but also taught up life skills we could need to accomplish what we were looking for in the class. The classes were 2 hours for 6 weeks and was soooo much fun! I didn’t think I was going to learn so much , while having so much fun. This class was perfect for business reasons as I was there and it’s just fun to anyone in general looking to make friends , have fun and do some acting. They also offer teen classes , and they do have an Improv show I believe on Fridays , I’ve also been to a show and it was so much fun , I went with my family and it suited all ages. They have a family friend and a more of an adult suited show. This is a go to place for sure especially if you’re coming to Rhode Island and want to enjoy some comedy, and be involved why not participate at the improv show? Daniel was great , he knew all his stuff.

Stayed 2 nights in providence on vacation and was looking for someth g to do with family. Saw the TA reviews and booked this online. Didn't have high expectations at $5/ ticket. It was quite fun. Not As good as the guys from Whose Line but the regular actors were still good, like community theater. I get the impression we were the only non local people there but place was pretty full

The actors get he audience involved but only choose volunteers with hands up so no worries to be picked if you just want to watch. Many volunteers were kids, in fact one of the funniest was a girl who played part of one of the actors. It was obvious these people all knew each other but not knowing any of them I still found it comical.

Highly recommend! It's a hidden gem
