The Warwick Center for the Arts is located in the Kentish Artillery Armory, a National Historic Landmark. Making the building as interesting as what goes on inside. The WCFA offers a variety of arts activities through exhibits, educational programs, and cultural experiences, as well as...More

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with WCA on the recent exhibit, "Oakland Beach in the 1960s - Art, Society & Nature," featuring the original photographs of Carmel Vitullo, a Rhode Island artist who worked in Oakland Beach 50+ years ago. The...More

This is a community center with art wired on the walls. Having said that, I caught a juried show of RI artists and thought that the quality of artwork was good. It's just the presentation and the building itself which leave something to be desired....More

The art changes every month or so. Go on a Friday night when they have two improv comedy shows. The earlier show is "family friendly" (i.e. no swearing or "adult" humor). They ask for audience participation, so bring your funny friends!

I would not call it terrible, but this is literally as others have mentioned 1 big room of art. I went over the weekend and there was a show of local artists from the Southern New England region but all artwork was available for sale....More

I have been by the Museum and it never appealed. We went planning to show our face and leave. The room was lovely, the pictures very interesting (in a good way) and the food and wine provided was good. I'd go again.

I walked in, expecting an "art museum" as the name states. And it was just one small room of terrible paintings. There is a small stage and a bunch of seats. The woman working there told me people come there for the "exhibits" and I...More
