Awesome time ~ Very Affordable

Such a great time. Extremely affordable, lots of history and plenty of free parking! So sad to know they will be leaving the area.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with the field or the place itself and I think they should keep the Pawtucket Red Sox at McCoy Stadium but obviously that's not going to happen unfortunately

Pretty well maintained paying field for a minor league stadium

Parking can be a little tricky because there are very few lines but the parking staff do a pretty good job in getting everyone in an out with out too many issues

Sorry to see them go
Aug 2019 • Family
Always took our kids and now grandkids to McCoy , loved sitting in the peanut gallery eating hot dogs and popcorn and cheering on our team but sadly that is over. Very disappointed they are leaving because we will not go see them in Worcester! They belong in Rhode Island!!

Tired ballpark ready for replacement in 2021

We bought tickets for one game and got to see a doubleheader after a rainout the previous night. The crowd was sparse, probably made worse for the first game by the fact that the team didn’t bother to notify advance ticket holders of the change in game time from 7:05pm to 4:35pm. Fortunately, we checked the web site in advance, but there’s no excuse for such an omission.

As for the park itself, suffice it to say that it’s not state of the art. It was built in 1946 and renovated in 1999. What I liked least was that the stands are elevated 10 to 15 feet above the field level, Although we sat in row B directly above the visitor’s dugout, we were disappointingly removed from the players coming in and out. In my opinion, it’s a poor and antiquated design.

Worse for us was that the view of home plate from our seats near first base was in a direct line with the setting sun. We were virtually blinded for the entire first game. Before buying tickets near first base you would be wise to consider the game time and the time of sunset.

The Paw Sox will be moving to a new stadium in Worcester, MA in time for the 2021 season. It’s a blow to the loyal fans in Pawtucket, but I think it’s time to say goodbye to McCoy Stadium.

Awesome time for a corporate team event
Jul 2019
The McCoy/PawSox team went above and beyond to make our team event a memorable one. The atmosphere was casual and relaxing - the stadium seats were super comfortable and the game plus added attractions kepts us entertained non-stop.

A great evening of baseball

I don't see what needed to be updated so desperately at this stadium. It's not new, but it's comfortable and works well. It's small, so even in the cheap seats you don't feel too far away from the field. We went on an evening with fireworks, and they were wonderful. Lots of small-town charm here.

Loved the Stadium
May 2019 • Business
My experience at McCoy Stadium was mix. The stadium is phenomenal and intimate, I love old classic stadiums and McCoy dis not disappoint, the food was cheap and plentiful, excellent bargain. However, my mixed emotions stems from the rude fans from the Pawtucket area that I have an issue with. I saw the rudeness extended to posing fans of the Braves and the families. I personally have never sat through a baseball game (3,000+) and not had any conversations with anyone around me and was treated with disgust. In fact, I believe some of the fans wanted for to disappear (LOLOL). I will return to McCoy next year for he Red Sox's final season at this venerable stadium. Hopefully, my disgust will change fo the better.
