My friend and I enjoyed walking the whole beach, it was low tide and we enjoyed seeing the surfers. Far away we could see parasailing from Pt. Judith. Enjoyed reading what people had left written in the sand.

Visited Scarborough Beach on the 1st of October and it is just beautiful. The softest sand ... clean, clear water & great waves (YES! We took a quick dip in!) Highly recommend a visit to the RI coast any time of year.

Quite crowded but the facility provides enough rroom for everyone regardless. Mild water action and a breeze helped to keep the heat comfortable to bear.

Great beach and clean facilities. We did the north beach. It was crowded, but to be expected. The parking lot was ample

This was across from our first hotel, so we could walk over and not pay to park. Not sure what the fee is but all the beaches charge by the day, some very reasonable, some not.

Scarborough is located about two miles north along the coast from Point Judith lighthouse. This time of year is considered late in the season so the beaches south end pavilion is closed until next year. The beach however is open and because of the lack...More
