Was surprised at how nice and sandy the water was. It was also very shallow with not too many waves so there were a lot of families.

This is one of the best beaches in R.I. Wait, no it is terrible. It is not quiet, clean, beautiful water etc. We do not want this beautiful beach ruined by tourists. Please, please, please, keep they beauty and integrity of this beach the way it is.....

Have taken my kids and grandchildren here many times. Extensive beach protected by breakwater so no fear of child being “swept away.” Teenagers and college students shun this beach so you won’t be bothered by the posturing. Swings and slides available. Good beach to acquaint…

The beach has nice soft sand and the walk into the water has a very gentle slop whis is great for families with children

Great beach even after the summer crowds are gone. Bathrooms are closed but portable restrooms are available. Still plenty of fun to be had on playground equipment, the sand, surf and sun. Take advantage of warm September weather and free entrance to state beaches.
