This was my first visit to Narragansett Rhode Island and I was pleasantly surprised. The sea walled coastline was very busy with visitors, activity and Surfers all at once. We walked along a Central Square Park on the oceanfront and there were literally hundreds of people walking, biking, sea watching on this late fall day. A very relaxing way to spend a mid-afternoon with friends or family. Plenty of street parking available during this late-season. I would recommend visiting one of the seaside restaurants for lunch during your visit.…

This beach was easy to find and it had free parking. This was the first beach we stopped at and it was great.It's a great place to relax.

We visited in August 2020, on a Thursday morning. Very chill atmosphere at this beautiful stretch of Rhode Island coastline. The crowds were very limited and parking was easy! The beach itself is lovely—a long stretch with a nice vista. In addition to the beach, there is a long, paved walk along the oceanfront, which we enjoyed; it featured some cool rock sculptures. The little town surrounding the beach is chill, too. It has some beautiful homes, a coffee shop, a deli, an ice cream store, etc. A relaxing visit!…
