Sweet Berry Farm is a post-and-beam farm market and café situated on 100 acres of conserved farmland. We are located only a short distance from downtown Newport and the island's beaches. From our market we sell our own freshly grown seasonal fresh fruits, vegetables, cut flowers, as well as a variety of gourmet and specialty foods. The pick-your-own season spans from June through December. Our barn and orchard offer two picturesque settings for your wedding or special event.

Love Sweet Berry Farm. Excellent sandwiches made daily, healthy salads, amazing pies and lots of fresh, local produce. Don't miss the pick your own berries! Picturesque spot for a wonderful lunch or outing.

Had picked up their brochure at hotel and decided to go for the berries. You can pick your own or buy at their farm store. It was a nice ride out of town to get there. We ended up going in the back entrance on a gravel road through the fields of raspberry and blueberry bushes dripping with fruit --... More

Often stop here for lunch on the go. Have interesting salads to go along with outstanding baked goods, particularly the pies!

This was a totally serendipitous find, out in the countryside, as we were making a meandering drive from Newport up to Providence. Our timing was just right, too, for in addition to acres of agricultural land where the public can pick its own seasonal fruits or berries and a market area in a large, rustic, barnlike building peddling fresh vegetables,... Lovely pastoral setting where you can enjoy freshly prepared sandwiches, soups and salads either inside or at the picnic tables on the expansive lawn..An added bonus is the option to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables, jams, cheeses etc...to take w/you. Lot's of locals visit Sweet Berry Farm ...so that should be a clue to the visitor heading to or from... More

Generally outstanding quality, but when Florida corn runs 75c / ear vs. 40 c at the supermarket, it makes me cringe. Buratta is 2x more expensive than, say Trader Joes. I get the "Mom and Pop", small town deal, but really the COGS are too high

We've been to Newport/Middletown many times and this was the first time we visited Sweet Berry Farm. Located on 3rd Beach Road in Middletown, it is a beautiful tranquil setting. We had a delicious breakfast before hitting the road and bought one of their blueberry pies to take home. Nice variety of pastries, sandwiches, beverages. Lots of outdoor seating, both... More

While visiting Newport with international exchange students, I was delighted when they said they were up for a detour from the usual Newport sightseeing of mansions, colonial history, the Cliff Walk etc. We ventured past Easton's Beach and headed on up Route 138A over to Sweet Berry Farm in Middletown after learning the season for strawberry picking had opened that... This is a little gem of a place. After visiting the web site, and seeing that they offered breakfast, I could not resist a visit. The food is very well cooked, and the staff working at the farm stand restaurant pleasant, cheerful and happy. We sat outside in the beautiful warm morning, overlooking the edges of the farm. A perfect start... More
