There are 3 reasons why this place stays in business...gambling age is 18, they have live tables and they allow smoking. A 4th reason could be that the locals are very loyal to this place (it's a locals casino). I wouldn't travel more than 30...More

I have gone to a number of concerts at Twin River, and while the venue is not as flashy or big as Foxwoods, the acts are mostly headliners: from Olivia Newton-John, to Marty Short, to the Guess Who and many others. The gaming area upstairs...More

The casino itself is just okay. The slots are not the best (we prefer Las Vegas!). The Lighthouse bar is always fun to sit and listen to a good live band. The acoustics are great and you can actually hear the band throughout the casino.

If this was your first visit ever to a "casino" it would undoubtedly be your last. I usually enjoy casinos.....Foxwoods, Vegas, Atlantic City. But, this place is just plain sad and depressing and should hardly be classified as a casino. The areas carved out of...More

Well, here we go again! I was privy to the new Tiverton casino aka Newport Grands North! The only real difference is that at least Newport had a separated smoking and no smoking area. I am going to assume that the twin river board members...More

This casino is not the most modern and the layout needs to be upgraded. Some areas are very dingy. Not as clean and bright as Plainridge Park Casino.

It's not a question of where, it's more conditional upon when you get there - the earlier the better chance of closer seats; I do not recommend valet, because you will wait a very long time for your car, along with all the... More
