DANGEROUS. Not safe for families/children/dogs. Cars drive above the 20 MPH speed limit. Cars drive the wrong way around the loop (which is one way) meaning they're driving on the side hat's reserved for walkers, joggers, and bikers. People treat this park like it is a main road but there's no sidewalks...probably because this is meant to be a place where people can walk on the pavement.

A few weeks ago, I witnessed an RI State Trooper drive past TWO cars that were driving in the wrong direction on the wrong side of the road .The Trooper did NOTHING. What's the point?!

This place is great from late September to late May, when cars aren't allowed to drive through the whole loop. During the summer, it's like dodging traffic. There aren't enough one-way signs and there's no enforcement of the rules.

Beautiful place. But unfortunately how would anyone like it when you go to the food stand and the women ask you to put a mask on and didn't ask anyone else who didn't have a mask on to. Maybe because I'm Asian?! Nowadays everyone can have the virus. So why am I the only one who was told to put a mask on when a branch of other people who not Asian wasn't ask put one on. I sat there watching how many people is she going to ask to put their mask on who doesn't have one on. Pretty much no one only me who Asian. Not being treated fairly is not a way of living righteousness. I would never treat anyone unfairly. Love one another ❤

This is one of the nicest state parks we have ever been to. Many camping sites and all seemed of good size and had some privacy. All had picnic table and grill area. Plenty of paths for hiking and walking. Many easy and s9 e more difficult up rock and through the woods. Dogs all about the tra8ks. Many mountain bikes there also. Multiple fields for picnic and ball games. Pavaillions as well. Beautiful lake with many areas to hike or relax. Plenty of fishing for everyone. The beach area was just beautiful and very nicely maintained. Showers restrooms and a very good snack bar with meals and ic e cream. Entire park was very clean. Will be visiting this state park again, for sure.

Lincoln Woods is a wonderful local gem that has a little something for everyone - hiking, fishing, swimming, open spaces, picnic sites, even kayaking, canoeing and SUP - you can rent gear at the boathouse.

Great beach, especially for little kids as it doesn't get too deep and water is warm. We always go on a weekday so it's not overcrowded. There are a couple of shaded areas if you don't mind walking a short distance from where you swim, and especially if you also want to bring a game like bocce and utilize the grassy area to play. This is also near the place to rent kayaks. Bathrooms are clean with stalls and showers. Good variety of food available at beach prices, but we usually like to bring a picnic lunch,

The loop road is a one way with drivers on the right and walkers/bikers having the entire left side of road. There are a few hills though, so although it's only 2.5 miles around, we were tired after doing it a couple times on bikes.

We've also brought in a canoe and did fishing, which was simple with the boat ramp.

There's also a rocky area that you can park at that's fun to climb around.

Lincoln Woods is a beautiful state park. The ride around the loop is 2.5 miles...great for walking or jogging. There are many sites to have a picnic or to just sit and enjoy.

This is a beautiful park. It has many hiking trails that take you through different landscapes. There are many erratics and rock formations. Kayaking on olney pond at sunset is a favorite. There is a historical cemetery that the olneys are buried in.There are also ruins throughout the park.

Aside from the all around lack of things to do and the tiny space marked off for swimming, this local bio-hazard is routinely closed because of high levels of bacteria. Not to mention that it literally exploded last summer. The food is too expensive to even be worth it. Please to save yourself the risk of god knows what kind of infections and wasted time do not go here.

Great park!! I was looking for a pretty running spot outside the city (PVD) but not too far and this place was perfect. Entrance right off highway not more than 20 min drive from city center. When you arrive you feel you are in nature! The road around the lake is about 3 miles of gorgeous woods, trails and picnic tables. You run/walk on side of road-there is no paved path along it the only drawback. There are many interior trails too. It was so beautiful and peaceful this fall morning. Definitely worth coming to enjoy fall colors or in warmer weather.

Some of the best fall foliage in Rhode Island may be viewed in Lincoln Woods State Park. You will find beautiful reflections of the colorful leaves on the trees in the water. In the summer you'll have the opportunity to swim in the lake. (Changing facilities are available). There are toll booths set up, so I assume there is a charge to enter the park in the summer season. It is free to enter in the fall, walk around the lake and take all the photos you want to. Any time of year, one can walk around the lake.
