This location is often missed while in Jamestown. It looks very private but is a public area. Bring a chair and sit by the water. Beautiful homes along the street as well.

It is a neighborhood beach, quiet, secluded, no surf or seaweed but you need a Jamestown, RI resident sticker, $10, obtainable only if you show proof of residency or property ownership in Jamestown.

Heads Beach is a small grass and sand "beach" in Jamestown where you might enjoy sitting for a while and looking out at the bay. Probably wouldn't want to swim there and there is only parking for a handful of cars at most. No amenities other than the view. For a better beach experience, you'd want to go to Jamestown's beach at Mackerel Cove.
