Great array of racing machines!

This is in my own back yard and I visit yearly. June for the Latimore Fair is a great time to visit. You will find antique sprints, midgets, stock cars and motorcycles doing laps on the dirt track behind the museum.

As a "car guy", I was in heaven. The museum far exceeded my expectations. I congratulate all of the people who contributed to making the museum a reality for generations to come.

A walk back in time
Jun 2019
Visited this place many times. It is nearly in my back yard. As a race fan for more than five decades, it brings back sweet memories of times past at the track. It is a very special day in June and August when they have live track time with vintage cars down on the old track. The museum expansion is great too. I could spend hours in library too.

Fun day for the family
Jul 2019 • Family
We drive by the display all the time, along Rt. 15. We finally decided it would be a fun time to check out this museum.
Just off the main road, this small museum packs a lot of history, and some really cool cars, into the two buildings that house the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing.
If you are looking for a nice free stop, check them out. There is a gift shop with some great clothing and souvenirs. Some weekends, they do offer special events, so check their website.

Just visited EMMR and would recommend it, a lot of history about racing cars and racers. Two stores plus an adjacent building.
Museum is free a usually open on weekends but check web page.
Ask for a tour, staff are all volunteers but very happy to help and tell you all about their story.
The even have races open to public!!
Kids young and old will be amazed.

Fantastic history of open wheel racing. Lots of very old to current cars, pictures and plenty of memorabilia. If you think you know a lot, stop by and learn something new. The staff are incredibly and you may see Lynn Paxton, multi track champion with over 250 wins. An ever changing display including sprints, modifieds, drag cars and a huge accessible library. A MUST SEE!!!!

Good place to visit while in the area. Lots of memorabilia to see. It’s been extended from what it used to be. Make sure take your camera. And it’s free.

every time we come and visit Pennsylvania we have to visit the E M M R......there is always something new to see....our only regret is that we live so far away....if ever you are in the area this is a must do.....there is no charge for entry so I always give a donation and spend lots in the gift shop....I wear my EMMR hat with pride.....

A Wonderful Musuem
Nov 2017 • Couples
Words cannot not express our feelings about EMMR, the staff is so wonderful and everyone we met were so friendly and helpful! This place holds a wealth of history, not only of racing but also of automobile changes over the years! Our guide "Rocky" that we had was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge! This place is to much of a secret!
