Kennywood is America's Finest Traditional Amusement Park! Located just outside Pittsburgh, PA, Kennywood offers a unique mix of classic rides and modern thrills, including six roller coasters, a 14-ride Kiddieland, and several attractions that cannot be found anywhere else, including the newly revamped Noah's Ark, recognized by "Amusement Today" as the world's best walkthrough/funhouse attraction for the past six years. Kennywood's three wooden coasters have all been designated Landmark rides by the American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE). Founded as a trolley park in 1898 and named a National Historic Landmark in 1987, Kennywood guarantees unforgettable fun for all ages. The experience goes well beyond the rides, as guests enjoy homemade fudge, Deep Fried Oreos, tasty funnel cakes, and Kennywood's world-famous Potato Patch fries! Whether you're celebrating a birthday, having a party, hosting a company picnic or family reunion, Kennywood has large and inviting private party areas with delicious meal options to please even the pickiest eaters.

This was my first time going to the holiday lights, and I was so pleasantly surprised! We purchased tickets online because it was $3 cheaper--recommend of course. There are lights everywhere, they really do a nice job! There is not too heavy of a crowd so it's enjoyable to walk around. There's a light show on the lagoon every 30... More

Everything about this visit went well! Parking was free which was a pleasant surprise. We arrived before 6 and had to wait outside the gate. The crowd was a nice mix of people: families with some younger kids, families with teenagers, groups of teenagers, groups of adults, and couples of varying ages. From the gate, just as my last visit,... More

We visited Kennywood Park to take in their annual Holiday Lights display. The park seems to outdo itself every year and puts on a wonderful display. Most of the park is open to walk around. The 4-D theatre is showing The Polar Express and provides a way to take a break from the cold. In addition, Noah's Ark was open,... More

What a great experience. Well worth the effort. The admission price is reasonable, $16.99 buying at Giant Eagle is about the best price. Seems like they discount the prices somewhat on Facebook for certain nights if you follow the Kennywood page. Open from 5-9 which due to the weather is about all one could do, especially with children. Kiddieland is... More

My family loves Kennywood and especially Doc Dixon's magic show. We had seen him there during the summer, but this was the first time seeing him at Holiday Lights. What a GREAT SHOW! Glad you have him on a stage where he can do a bigger show. When he made the table float my kids' screamed "Wow!" Love the way... More

Visited here while back, was fun time for smaller local amusement park. Good rides with plenty to do. Great place to make memories with your family.

This is an old time amusement park with modern flair. Watch for specials on season passes around Black Friday. Seniors over 55 can get a season pass for $54.99. If you go for Holiday Lights, you can use the price of admission towards your season pass. My grandkids love it. They are known for their Potato Patch fries, roller coasters,... More

Prices of admission getting a bit out of control for a small rarely updated park that is a bit behind the times. So much wasted space in all those raggedy old pavilions. Several friends had to be coaxed to join me for a trip to other amusement parks due to kennywood being their only experience to determine their desire. After... More

We are sorry to hear you no longer enjoy Kennywood. The Kennywood brand for decades has been built on the history, tradition and shared experiences generations of Pittsburghers (and other visitors) have had here. Our team works very hard to keep our many attractions that cannot be found at almost any other park up and running and the majority of... More
