About
From the novice to law enforcement, we will take care of you. Shooting automatic weapons is something that few people have ever done, even those in the military or law enforcement generally have limited exposure to just a few weapons. Washington County Machine Guns can give you the opportunity to fire a variety of firearms from the modern suppressed submachine guns (MP5-N), to the classics (Tommy Gun), to the pretty darn big (50 BMG Sniper Rifle bolt-action). We provide all firearms, ammo, shooting glasses, ear plugs, targets, and a private range with direct supervision from a NRA Range Safety Officer while shooting, plus our guests will receive a quick history lesson of each weapon fired with the option to take pictures or videos. Two main rules for our private range: Access to range is by appointment only (except for range members). No one under 16 allowed.

I book an appointment with Tredd. Absolute pleasure to deal with. We were not from the area and Tredd recommended a hotel and place to eat. We arrived for our scheduled shoot time was met by 3 instructors. They went over all the safety procedures and especially took time with my son since it was his first time shooting. Then it was time for an amazing 2 hours of shooting everything from a Tommy Gun to the 240SAW. Living in The Bronx these are guns we would never imagine shooting. I’m 57 years and I was like a kid in a toy store. I would recommend Washington Count Guns to everyone who enjoys and respects guns. We had a party of 4 and took videos and after family and friends seeing the videos we are planning a another trip to see Tredd. This time we will have at least 10. This is definitely a bucket list experience for me and my son and I will be visiting Washington County Guns at least once a year. It was a 7 hour ride each way but worth every minute driving. Tredd thank you again for an unbelievable experience.... See you soon!

Tredd, the owner, is a great guy and very welcoming and friendly. The entire staff were very nice and very professional. I've always wanted to try out some machine guns I've seen in WWII movies and TV shows, so it was great to try out the Thompson, MP40 and Sten guns. The BAR wasn't available so I went with the M16, and then M60 and M240 Bravo. The .50 rifle was amazing, and watch out for the .500 Smith and Wesson--it will rip your hand off! I was told I was the first customer to try their new M79 grenade launcher, and courtesy of Tredd's generosity, my wife and daughters got to try the MP5. A great time had by all! Many thanks to Tredd and staff. Highly recommended.

Wonderful experience. Had a great time with my sons on a lovely spring day. Highly recommend this attraction for the gun enthusiast. You just have to experience the firing of a machine gun. Give the grenade launcher a try while you are there. We will definitely put this on our bucket list to return again. The staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Safety is their primary concern.

Excellent! Easy location to travel to just minutes off of Interstate 70. Our staff member today, Allen, provide history, instruction and safe operating conditions for today's shooting. Thank you Allen!
This was my second trip to purchase a machine gun package. I highly recommend anyone to go to the Washington County Machine Gun website and see what package best fits you. Our group today had nothing but positive feedback for Washington County Machine Guns. Their priorities are safety and customer satisfaction.
Additional thanks to Tredd Barton for bringing this venue to our area. The inventory keeps growing; keep up the great work!
P.S. Take plenty of pictures and videos of your shooting!

We had some international visitors from Eastern Europe come to visit us in Pittsburgh and wanted to provide them with a unique and memorable activity for their first visit to America. We found it at Washington County Machine Guns, about 1 hour from Pittsburgh. What's more American than shooting at stuff with machine guns?

Tredd (the owner) was very accommodating to our needs and special requests and very patient while the translator translated his instructions (none of our guests spoke English). Everyone had a lot of fun and overall we found this operation to be professional, well-organized and, most importantly, safe! There was a covered area for protection from sun and rain, a nice bench to shoot from and plenty of fun targets to shoot at.

There were five of us today, four shooters and one translator. We were there for right at two hours and were in no way rushed and had plenty of time.

We highly recommend these guys and we plan to go back again ourselves. If you go, make SURE you spend the extra $25 to get a 5 lb Tannerite exploding target - it's a REAL blast! If you can swing it, get a couple as everyone is going to want to have that experience once they see it in action.

Thanks Sean !! You will have to try the new belt-fed M60 machine gun the next time you come down.

Just finished a 10 day motorcycle trip down into Virginia and PA, and shooting at Washington Machine Guns was definitely one of the highlights.... Tredd really knows his stuff- the mechanics and history of each gun- which made it so much more rewarding than other times I have shot... He also let me try a couple rounds in other guns and recommended really cool guns.... I will definitely go again when I am anywhere close!!!

Wow, what a blast (literally)!! I drove my 16 yr. old son to WCMG this past Saturday. It was a four hour round trip drive from Johnstown, PA but boy was it worth the trip. Tredd and his team operate a safe, educational, and professional range. The breadth of weaponry from which to choose was amazing. We chose the standard package and upgraded to fire the M60. We started "old-school" with the Thompson sub machine gun, followed by the modern SCAR 17 and Kriss Vector. We experienced both suppressed and unsuppressed fire arms including an Armalite .50 rifle. I only wish we could have spent more time trying out the guns. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town!

Since I am from Canada, I wanted to shoot a fully automatic rifle during my visit to Pennsylvania. This was realized with a trip to WCMG. I called on short notice, and was told that some range time shouldn't be a problem. A short drive later and I was shooting an AK, a Thompson, a .50 BMG and others. I want to thank Tredd and Mike for coming out and allowing me the chance to do something I can't at home. I highly recommend this to anyone who is a regular shooter or hasn't even held a gun. These guys are great. I hope to be back as soon as I can.
