Very nice viewing platform along with ample parking and a nice spot for hot dogs and milk shakes! No accessible trail like in Colton on the other side but still worth visiting!

Made me proud to be a Pennsylvanian! Such a well-kept facility, clean and beautiful showcasing Pa blue slate throughout! The view was spectacular, pictures don't do it justice. No crowds, no trouble parking. Where are all the people? Too beautiful to miss! Go!

I visited this park with my siblings. The camp sites were nicely spaced and rather big. The reservation of the site was very easy and they are really relaxed about amount of people and what you do. I have been camping for most of my life and just loved this park. The PA canyon is right at the campsite and... More

We went here to get a look at the "Grand Canyon of PA" and it didn't disappoint us! We took the .6 walk to the Otter View and it was a nice walk. Clean too!

I came into the park via The Turkey Path off of the Pine Creek Trail. Great steps up the mountain to see the waterfall. Walked a little more on the trail, but not the full mile up. Nice views going up and down the steps.

Definitely worth taking this trip! Free state park, very well maintained. Best views from east side. Some steps involved, so not totally handicapped accessible, but still can get some great views without going down steps. Would love to return in the fall and see all the gorgeous colors! Don't forget to stop in downtown Wellsboro while you're here, very quaint... More

We really enjoyed the fantastic views of the Pine Creek Gorge we saw at Leonard State Park. The overlooks were easy to access and if you wanted more adventure the Turkey trail path certainly provided that. We ended up taking the easier overlook trail due to a knee injury earlier in the week. Next time we'll bring our bikes and... More

Me and my wife went to the west and east rim of the canyon, the east is the best side to look at the canyon and it is not a far drive from the west side. Our hat off to the park service, what a great job with the over look, steps, wall, clean rest rooms, i have not been... More

We took a day trip from Sullivan County to see the Grand Canyon of PA and enjoy the site of my great grandparent's honeymoon in Wellsboro. Fortunately the trail to the observation deck was paved because two of us were not prepared and wore flip flops. The drive was beautiful and our GPS took us on some dirt road adventures... More

At this state park you can get a gorgeous view of the deep gorge formed by Pine Creek. There is a short loop trail which gives an additional view, as well as a longer trail that descends from the visitor center to the creek. It's a rigorous walk, especially near the bottom. Along the creek you can walk on a... More
