My husband and I enjoyed a lovely evening on the train. We met new people, had a delicious meal and enjoyed the view of the endless mountains, farm fields, and the lake. Nice easy ride as we ate our meal but a little faster pace for the return trip. Two hours well spent.

My husband and I did the sunset dinner train ride and absolutely loved it! One of the highlights of our trip. The ride was about 2.5 hours with a full meal served included coffee and dessert which we weren't expecting! Lovely scenery, peaceful. We enjoyed walking through each car to get to the outdoor open air train cabin for the... More

We really enjoyed our relaxing trip. It took us to a lake where we saw a bald eagle. We had an open air car so the view's were good. I only rated it as average because there's honestly not much to see for most of the trip. If you are really into trains, that's one thing.

Yes, the scenery is not the Canadian Rockies Yes, the route is along Rt 287 ... Yes, the food is not gourmet, but is above average ... Yes, it's up and back on the same track ... No, the meal is not worth $~30 .. BUT, it's a freakin' TRAIN, where else can you ride a vintage 1950s train in... More

Took my 3 grandsons on the train ride. The oldest was soooo excited he had his picture taken with "Mr. Conducter" as he called him. They loved being able to walk through the train and go to the opened cars where they waved at ever one. So want do to this again and every time we go by they say... More

We had been lead to believe this railroad ride was thru the PA Grand Canyon. It's not. Nice view of a lake at the end before you come back the same route. Train travels right by some very Rustic backyards of homes. Meal was just OK. Not real hot. Chef came out to talk to people after the meal. He... More

The price for dinner trip for my wife and I was $ 100. The trip up the road and back was 2 hours but nothing special, the only interesting sight was a lake we traveled by. The meals were bland and my wife's was cold... No one was available for correction. Not the RR's fault but we introduced ourselves to... More

The Tioga Central RR is a great way to leaf peep without driving, biking or hiking. Just sit back and soak it all in from the comfort of a strolling train.
