Group trip. Fun, not extreme.

Great set up. Plan to make a day of it or even camp. Lots of fun. Only thing if you get into a minor jam literally, don't expect your guides to help out. I assume if life or... read more

I have done this for several years. Today was another wonderful trip. Even tho the river was a tad lower than usual we had a fun time. I am looking forward to coming again next year to try a dam release trip. I saw someone remark on another post about helmets. This river is not really rated as being that... More

Went rafting with 3 others and we had a great time on the river. We were worried about getting hit with storms but they never came despite the forecast, but that's typical of summer in this area. I've been rafting with this company 4 times and every time has been different even though every trip had been in the Lehigh... More

If you are looking for more challenging rapids a dam release date is definitely the way to go. Glad you had fun again this year, we look forward to seeing on the river in 2017! More

First of all don't book a cabin because they are literally just wooden sheds with planks of wood that they call bunk beds that we wouldn't even force prisoners of war to attempt to sleep in. Secondly if the self-proclaimed "boss" named Henry sneaks up on your group at midnight as he did to us on 2 occasions, drop what... More

Great set up. Plan to make a day of it or even camp. Lots of fun. Only thing if you get into a minor jam literally, don't expect your guides to help out. I assume if life or death or serious they would help put but of you get jammed up on some rocks you are kinda on your own.... More

The Lehigh River is a milder white water river. It's more exciting in the Spring and on scheduled dam release weekends throughout the season. It is a great group and team building experience. Our river guides are there to provide instruction and make sure everyone gets down the river safely. In most instances groups are able to get themselves unstuck... More

This activity requires teamwork so offers great lessons. The rapids are very delicate so there's no too much adventure. However the scenic views, cool water and togetherness make this experience worth while. During our tour we had several "camp" groups, which were rowdy the entire time. They were respectful when you asked them not to throw buckets of water at... More

Our goal is for every guest to have a fun time on the river. The Lehigh River offers Class I, II, and III rapids so it's great for groups and beginners. The rapids are more exciting in the Spring and on scheduled dam release weekends throughout the season. We also run guided rafting trips on the Hudson River and Black... More

So we have gone whitewater rafting twice at this location both time we were with a large group 30-40 people. This is a Girl Scouting event and the girls come with their familes. The first year we went we camped in tents and it was very loud. People were setting up at 11:00pm and were very load. They were shining... More

We were 2 couples who did the dam release trip together this past weekend. Overall we had a fun time. This outfit is very organized and has great facilities. There were no lines and check in was smooth. I truly felt there was a focus on safety with everything from my life jacket fitting to the safety briefing on the... More

Glad to hear you would recommend our company. We are the closest outfitter to the Upper Lehigh River Gorge which is a 9 mile section of river filled with fun Class II-III rapids! This means a short 15 minute shuttle to and from the river. Our rafts hold 5-7 people, it's best not to have less than 5 people to... More

We love Whitewater Challengers! We've been rafting the Leigh for years now. It's always a great time with friends! My very first rafting experience was with Whitewater Challengers, and it was such a great time that we never saw a reason to raft with anyone else! We stepped up our game this year and headed up to the Black River.... More
