    Excellent environment
I feel that the dealers are just an amazing group of people. I very rarely have a bad experience with a dealer and usually it’s someone who is learning so it’s not actually a bad experience. It’s understandable. Plenty of options with game choices.

As good as any, better then most
Lots of slots, ya win some ya loose some, and thats why they call it GAMBLING. The odds are not in your favor if they were they would go out of business, and this is how they make their money. For the most part the non smoking area is pretty clean though some machines are shall we say sticky, but the crew does a good job keeping things clean. I do think the refreshments are a bit over priced, but ya cant run out and get something to eat or drink, so you pay the price. The payouts ,I believe fall with inthe requirement put forth by the gamming commission, so I doubt anything if rigged. Will I go back, yep I will!

Love the separate non smoking area
The air in the non smoking area is good & we appreciate these efforts for visitors & their employees. The slot machines are varied but not very much fun as you sink time & $$. Not much return & we played a LOT. As others have said, they're just too tight.

    Feeling belittled
Just want everyone to know that the elite card holders can have their machine put out of service so they can eat dinner and come back to the machine without anyone playing it. I was playing and another lady and myself was waiting to play one of the machines. The elite member called an attendant to put the machine out of service. When I questioned why I could not play it, the attendant was not so nice and told me the elite has that right. Sure enough when the two ladies were done eating the attendant came and put the machine back in service. Is my money not good enough to play? Very upsetting.

    The Meadows 3 stars
The Meadows was a nice place to visit, pretty clean, but could give offers of free slot or table play. We were there for 3 days, spent a couple grand & didn’t get a single offer for anything! We would’ve been happy w/$15 of free play & we probably would’ve played even more.

My Favorite Casino of All Time!
I've been to many casinos and also to Vegas, but The Meadows is my favorite! They have something for everyone, new games, old games, and rarely a mechanical error or issues with sound not working. I can play for hours, unlke some of the others that eat my money in under 2 hours. They usually give me good offers. I also like how roomy it is, the machines aren't all crammed together and you can walk through the casino without running in to everybody. The only thing I can think of to make it better is bring back self serve drinks, more sit down food options, receive comps for Hyatt Place, and please don't take out the old video slots

It makes me so sad. What once was our "go to" place for dancing, fun, good food and great bands in the formally known as "Headliners" lounge, has disappeared and will never return. DH and I decided to give the new Hollywood Casino one more try last night. You now need to reserve a table ($15 per person) if you wish to sit in the "H" Lounge to enjoy the entertainers. As a result the bar seating as well as the area surrounding the bar is packed, loud and difficult to order a drink. The food court is nothing special, same cuisine as before, maybe even less. There used to be a group of friends that were often dancing in the Headliners lounge. We haven't seen any of them in our last visits. We don't gamble at this Casino...payouts are few and far between. Prior to this new management, DH and I won fairly often, but now the slots are tight like everyone else has mentioned. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" is a very old saying, but it perfectly fits what has happened to our old "go to" place.

It's one thing to upgrade your business, it's just plan stupid not to make sure your staff is upgraded as well. Having one of the most popular bands in the area playing in your new entertainment facility and not having the proper staffing is inexcusable.

Not only did I wait 10 minutes at the bar for one beer, I watched both bartenders on
my side stay in one spot taking order after order. That is not the way to work a very crowded bar. Who trains these people?

Not only was the bar service terrible, waiting at my table for someone for over 30 minutes in much to long. Again who is training these people?

Hey Meadows.... your renovations are fantastic.... Let's upgrade the effort!!!

Mark, thank you for the review. We appreciate your patients and feedback as we transition our staff into working at the new bar and will pass your feedback on to our management team for their consideration. We look forward to your return visit and feedback on any improvements we make.

The stage, atmosphere, casino, drinks, food, and especially the people are makes the magic happen at the Meadows. It is always a fabulous time when Pittsburgh’s top dance band, Metro, performs at this venue. Can’t wait to return.

I love this casino….but I hate that they allow smoking. They moved all our favorite non smoking machines into a smoking section. Really upsetting.. Why? For example: my elderly mother (87 years old) only gambles single line video poker (.5 and .10 cent). They moved every one of the single line machines to the smoking section as of last year. Plus many machines that I love to play like progressive triple line machines and many keno machines are now smoking areas! That being said I love the opportunity to play different denominations of video poker and keno here. I’m not a “penny “ slot player but they certainly have an abundance of those. I’ve always said this casino is the closet to Vegas that I’ve seen. Something for everyone. The food choices are pretty lame. . I hear the upstairs upscale restaurant is fine but the rest of the choices are not great. We have decided to eat elsewhere before we go into the casino …..it’s a shame but true. The good news is we have found a few great restaurants in the area. On another note, I’m pleased to see the hand wipes and hand sanitizer are still provided. Thank you for that! I’m, also, please that they have wheelchairs for free and scooter rentals for those who need it (like my friend and my mother). Another plus is that I had security walk me to the Hyatt last night over the walkway bridge. I was thrilled to see, upon my request, that they provided this service. I was hesitant to walk by myself at midnight. There are many positives here just the smoking and food choices are not good. .

bet $10 on black in roulette, it hit for black. I didn’t win any money. Disputed it with the concierge, they double checked the system and said it hit for red even thought it hit for black. Will never be back.

This used to be my favorite casino in the tri-state area of WVa., Oh and Pa.; not any more. I normally play slots and usually grab a beer first and drink it while looking for an interesting machine. Bars were not open. I only saw one waitress running around and asked her where I can buy a beer and she said the food court bar. I went there and asked about a beer and was told that I had to order food too in order to be served a beer. I said I had dinner plans in a hour and a half so no thank you. I also commented I had never hear of such a rule in any other casino. I imagine this is Covid related but it still makes no sense at all. As long as this rule is in effect I will go elsewhere.

When you enter you are hit with the smell of cigarettes. It’s overpowering. It’s one large room and almost half of it is smoking. If you enjoy the old time slot machines they are few and the ones that I played you had to hit the keys hard for them to work. I was there for about an hour and left with my throat hurting and eyes tearing. Won’t be back.

I’m so disappointed in the Meadows!
The Meadows management is slowly getting rid of video poker machines!
No more 3 line Supertimes video poker, stacked super times is gone, no more 100 play or 50 play video poker, they eliminated 4 of the 3 line progressive video poker machines ( two ten cent and two quarter progressive machines are gone). No more three hand 5-10-25 cent denomination machines to play. Most of the video poker is in the smoking area now. It’s disgusting. We have a group that drives from Ohio about 2 plus hours to play here. The casino is slowly pushing us away. It is heartbreaking and disappointing.
The food at the food court is not good, the steak house is good but pricey and a la cart, the sportsbook has good food….but they took away the great happy hour menu!

My favorite video poker is the ten cent 3 hand progressive machines but you can’t get on one because there’s only two remaining!
Please return these video poker machines back to your casino floor.

New management seems to be getting rid of old machines. The new machines are very expensive.Older patrons like to play and enjoy a night out without taking all of our fixed income.

My husband and I went down on April 18th. They had a promotion for a free travel bag. Nowhere on there site was stated you had to have 100 points to get it. My husband went up to the My Choice desk to ask and the lady was very rude. She said we had to get 100 points on your card. My husband . went back the second time she said very rudely you have to get a 100 points that day. Like I said no where was it stated you had to do this.
