I love this casino….but I hate that they allow smoking. They moved all our favorite non smoking machines into a smoking section. Really upsetting.. Why? For example: my elderly mother (87 years old) only gambles single line video poker (.5 and .10 cent). They moved every one of the single line machines to the smoking section as of last year. Plus many machines that I love to play like progressive triple line machines and many keno machines are now smoking areas! That being said I love the opportunity to play different denominations of video poker and keno here. I’m not a “penny “ slot player but they certainly have an abundance of those. I’ve always said this casino is the closet to Vegas that I’ve seen. Something for everyone. The food choices are pretty lame. . I hear the upstairs upscale restaurant is fine but the rest of the choices are not great. We have decided to eat elsewhere before we go into the casino …..it’s a shame but true. The good news is we have found a few great restaurants in the area. On another note, I’m pleased to see the hand wipes and hand sanitizer are still provided. Thank you for that! I’m, also, please that they have wheelchairs for free and scooter rentals for those who need it (like my friend and my mother). Another plus is that I had security walk me to the Hyatt last night over the walkway bridge. I was thrilled to see, upon my request, that they provided this service. I was hesitant to walk by myself at midnight. There are many positives here just the smoking and food choices are not good. .

New management seems to be getting rid of old machines. The new machines are very expensive.Older patrons like to play and enjoy a night out without taking all of our fixed income.

The Meadows Racetrack and Casino is a large venue. Very clean and well kept. Employees were friendly as well. We walked around and seemingly saw people from all walks of life gambling with their money. Social distancing doesn’t exist at table games, I can’t say it any other way. Lack of windows and clocks, along with, of course, plenty of alcohol is part of the recipe here. Oddly, money is so tight in this pandemic, but not here. On a side note, if valet parking is closed, why close the valet parking lot to your customers so they have to walk twice as far to come in and lose, I mean, spend money? Is it really glitz and glamour that brings people here? Or hypnotic lights and sounds? Or boredom? Or just the lure of easy money?

It makes me so sad. What once was our "go to" place for dancing, fun, good food and great bands in the formally known as "Headliners" lounge, has disappeared and will never return. DH and I decided to give the new Hollywood Casino one more try last night. You now need to reserve a table ($15 per person) if you wish to sit in the "H" Lounge to enjoy the entertainers. As a result the bar seating as well as the area surrounding the bar is packed, loud and difficult to order a drink. The food court is nothing special, same cuisine as before, maybe even less. There used to be a group of friends that were often dancing in the Headliners lounge. We haven't seen any of them in our last visits. We don't gamble at this Casino...payouts are few and far between. Prior to this new management, DH and I won fairly often, but now the slots are tight like everyone else has mentioned. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" is a very old saying, but it perfectly fits what has happened to our old "go to" place.

The stage, atmosphere, casino, drinks, food, and especially the people are makes the magic happen at the Meadows. It is always a fabulous time when Pittsburgh’s top dance band, Metro, performs at this venue. Can’t wait to return.

bet $10 on black in roulette, it hit for black. I didn’t win any money. Disputed it with the concierge, they double checked the system and said it hit for red even thought it hit for black. Will never be back.

It's one thing to upgrade your business, it's just plan stupid not to make sure your staff is upgraded as well. Having one of the most popular bands in the area playing in your new entertainment facility and not having the proper staffing is inexcusable.
Not only did I wait 10 minutes at the bar for one beer, I watched both bartenders on
my side stay in one spot taking order after order. That is not the way to work a very crowded bar. Who trains these people?
Not only was the bar service terrible, waiting at my table for someone for over 30 minutes in much to long. Again who is training these people?
Hey Meadows.... your renovations are fantastic.... Let's upgrade the effort!!!

If you visit on a Friday or Saturday night, they have excellent local bands. Good food in the Casino and machines of all denominations. A little of everything for everyone. The children can even go bowling-need to check times on this..

I visited the Meadows Casino last night, it was a typical night there...loser, loser, loser ! I can't remember when the last time I won any little bit of money to keep me playing for a while. The ATM/ticket redemption machines are a few and far between, not nearly enough of them for as big as the casino is, not to mention that every machine I walked up to had a line of 8 people or more and over half of them were out of service ! Horrible !!!

This used to be my favorite casino in the tri-state area of WVa., Oh and Pa.; not any more. I normally play slots and usually grab a beer first and drink it while looking for an interesting machine. Bars were not open. I only saw one waitress running around and asked her where I can buy a beer and she said the food court bar. I went there and asked about a beer and was told that I had to order food too in order to be served a beer. I said I had dinner plans in a hour and a half so no thank you. I also commented I had never hear of such a rule in any other casino. I imagine this is Covid related but it still makes no sense at all. As long as this rule is in effect I will go elsewhere.

How many people does the theatre seat in all? Do you have a numbered seating chart to show?
Can a disabled person be pushed in a wheelchair from the outside drop-off to the restaurant, then to the restroom & finally to his theater seat?
After the show, can he be pushed to the outside pick-up, after one last restroom stop?

Why did they lower the free play use to get 10.00 and now it’s down to five dollars. I play the machines 4 times a week. Very upsetting it cost me 3.00 on the bus to get there and only get 5.00 free play isn’t worth me coming back.
Cam I redeem more than one free play offer each visit?
