This is probably the best mountain in PA. My favorite part about Elk is that the people skiing/snowboarding have etiquette, something that is lacking at more Southern PA resorts - so that alone makes the drive worth it. Additionally, I'd say compared to other PA...More

Skied Saturday January 19th and Sunday January 20th 2019. Great conditions, well groomed. Sure there was a little ice here and there but this is the east coast! We would suggest more lifts open on a holiday weekend to keep the wait in the lift...More

Took me 20 minutes or so to get the middle-aged gentleman's attention, and then had to wait about the same time AFTER establishing my presence. Horrible, horrible service! You would think someone in Management would notice and put someone on duty that knows what they...More

Quality, friendly, clean and leaps above the rest! Elk Mountain provides a clean well kept facility. The bar and Resturaunt look great with some new touches. The slopes are nice, long with out all those cross cutting runs you see down in the Poconos. The...More

This is a great little mountain. At about 1000 vertical, it has a good number of tough runs and is always beautifully groomed. We ski out west every year so we know what is good. And although obviously this is not equal to west coast,...More

If you’re skiing in PA, Elk is the best. No other area even close. Best snow, best terrain, best people, best vibe. The end.

The slopes are well maintained and lift lines not bad. Worth the extra drive if your coming from the Philly area. Lunch at the lodge restaraunt/bar is always my secret favorite part of the day! But really, the skiing is pretty good too!

When skiing in Pa. Elk Mountain is my first choice due to a number of reasons. It's a bit out of the way from the Bethlehem area but the one plus hour drive is worth it. After skiing Vermont and New Hampshire extensively when we...More

Yes and yes. Lodge has plenty of seating - mostly by benches at big tables. Most people out their bags under the tables. Never had an issue with this crowd with anything being taken. You can bring your own lunch. But... More
