We were in the area and needed supplies for a weekend vacation.
They had everything we needed for our weekend meals.
Pork, beef, baked goods, veggies, etc.
We picked up some nice items.
A bit pricey for a local farmers market but vg quality.

Been going here fir many years and in many local cations. The started out on main street and have several times. Open from April through early November and local people come to sell their produce and items made by them. There are so long time favorites like the organic people. And the giant dog bone lady but it attracts the light Val’s. Great produce is here especially in the summer months and early fall
No bargains but just good oriducts

The Monroe Farmers Market moves based on the seasons. Now that spring weather is upon us, they are back outdoors in courthouse square. I went for opening weekend and we browsed the tables. It seems to have expanded a little bit this year, which is great! A few stops I recommend:
- Race Farm has a large stand right in front of the courthouse which has great produce and excellent soups.
- Truly Italian sells their pasta sauces there, and their original tomato sauce is the best sauce I've ever tasted (plus, they have samples available every week!)
- A little later in the season, there's a stand with amazing apples of different varieties. The stand owners will help to guide you toward an apple you'll enjoy and the honeycrisps are large and delicious!
- There are a couple of stands with fresh bread, and I've tried them all and enjoyed them all.

A lot of great options here and a perfect way to spend a Saturday morning. They also often have activities going on and something for kids. It's dog friendly, and there's a stand selling dog treats as well!

We stopped here on our way across country to the Grand Canyon. It was a little tricky to locate and parking was difficult but once we got there we were glad that we stopped. A lot of very friendly farmers and local vendors. Our car was so full we could only purchase what we could eat and one very nice woman gave us a free peach and an apples for our trip.

Our goal was to grab a lunch in which we could enjoy on our hike. We had beautiful weather and it wasn't over crowded. We bought fresh Romano cheese, bread and blueberries.

Mostly out of state and out of country vendors, hardly a "Monroe" farmers market., As with any farmers market, seasonal conditions dictate quality and quantity of items offered for sale

The Farmers Market is not big. It is located right in the middle of town, around a park. Local crafts, produce, and bakery items. We spent a delightful hour.

This is a good place to visit on Saturday Mornings for Locals. The Famers have been coming here for a number of years and it attracts loads of locals and some seasonal visitors for home made and locally produced products. There are some baked goods and some specialty items like giant animals bones to purchase. it is pretty festive and some of the baked items liked scones and pies are very well done. Prices are reasonable and the corn particularly is excellent in the fall.

This is in the center of the town in the square. It is very small with a few vegetable and bakery stands plus a variety
Of this and that. We were not very impressed. I would not recommend this farmers market to tourists. It is mainly for the locals.
