There's too many whiners in the reviews wanting everything perfectly tailored to them. There's handfuls of stores here, a variety of them as well as places to eat. It's nothing to drive 50 miles out of your way for, but it's a perfectly fine mall for the area.

We killed sone time here on a very hot and humid day. We shopped a bit, had a meal and then. The movies. Loads of parking and some nice f the stores were fine but there are a few empty ones as the economy is not great here. All in all good fir a bad weather day

Located off Route 611. It is convenient to get to from I-80 . There is a movie theater and many retail shops and department stores to shop. There is also a food court for those who are hungry

Not much left open here....Depending on where you're from, I wouldn't even consider this a "mall" without covid closures present. It looks like a strip mall from the outside, but has a movie theater ("Cineplex") inside. The only business open in the food court was a pizza place, and this was on a Sunday so I assume all others were out of business despite that the malls website states there are more choices (not true). Many stores were vacant too, yet trusty ole Bath and Body Works is still open, lol. The best yet is the BEAUTIFUL Shoprite next door...check that out!

This mall used to be so amazing. I grew up here. I grew up at a time when it had so many different big shops.
Now it is really fascinating too. It is a hub for entrepreneurs who have cool ideas that they want to do. Void of big names, stores still exist that offer consumers unique experiences: like a store devoted to sports jerseys, a local jewelry/art stores, or even a coffeeshop/winebar that is also a music lessons space. Stroud Mall may have lost the big names, but it kept the Gertrude Hawks, and many other stores.
While it may be past its prime, it really symbolizes what makes the poconos such a great place to live: Quirky local businesses that do an incredible job to stay in business and are truly fascinating places.

Would only return here if we were in the poconos with nothing to do and it was bad weather. So we won’t be returning. Heavily used because there’s not a lot of places to shop in this area. The Main Street our front is always backed up because its single lane. Food choices are not great inside. Sears was empty. The stores don’t interest me. There’s been a lot of crime recently. Some of the people here are scary. Parking lot is not huge and weird design because it was built against a hillside. This place needs to be torn down to make way for something new.

Santa has a new set at the Stroud Mall. It is where the old Kay Jewelers used to be. Santa has a real beard too. Very friendly Santa with lots of Ho-Ho-Ho's too.

The only thing I find appealing about this mall is the gyro king place in the food court. Other than that there's nothing really to do, I'm not even sure how they stay open to be honest with you. There's not many stores and it's not appealing....just to and see for yourself. I prefer to drive twenty min south to Leigh Valley Mall where there is a variety of stores and food selection, plus it's a nicer crowd of people and plenty to do there....

The anchor stores are Sears, Bon-Ton, and JC Pennys. Even the JC Pennys isn't as good as the one in Rockaway Mall. The movie theater is excellent, but everything else is on the way down or just not very interesting. Christopher and Banks didn't honor a coupon it sent me. Hallmark didn't have any Hanukkah cards out the week after Thanksgiving. They said it was too soon even though Hanukkah was the same time as Christmas this year and they had Christmas stuff out since at least October. Again, the movie theater is great, but for shopping I'd rather go to Rockaway Mall or The Crossings.
