We had a wonderful time. Our guide, Donna, was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Would recommend it!

There was good group of people. A nice night, but the tour lacked interest. I felt it should of had more history and information to it. There should of been more stories to go along with whatever home or other building that the guide was talking about. It felt just like we were taking a stroll around Strasburg. The best part was looking at the beautiful mansion on Main Street. Thought story to it should have had more detail. I am told the Ghost tour in Lancaster City is much better!

We have been to several other Ghost Tours in other cities and they are usually very entertaining.
That was not the case here. Our guide was not a very good story teller and not very interesting. For a town so old, there seems not to be so much ghostly activity. We made several stops, most of which had not paranormal activity associated with them, and were just told some boring local facts. The tour walks you a few blocks up the main street, where two haunted houses are pointed out, then around the corner to the local cemetery for a visit of a few minutes. Then back to the starting place. Perhaps if they had a more outgoing guide who could tell a story in an interesting fashion I might have liked it better. As it was, it was very disappointing and I do not recommend it at all.

This tour was a disappointment. We were looking forward to ending our girls' weekend with a stroll and maybe even a ghost sighting through the town of Strasburg. The excitement quickly dissolved as the tour guide took 10 -15 minutes to talk about street crossing. We had gone only several blocks when we realized we were 1 hour into the tour and left when she announced the cemetery visit since it meant she would not have been finished for another 30-40 minutes. While the stories can be interesting, fun and even historically accurate, hers were loaded with her personal, nonsensical chatter, leaving very little time for the actual story. It was draining of our time, energy and money. Tour guide Susan needs to reconnect with the spiritual world and give the ghosts their time and the tourist their money's worth.

My husband and I have experienced Ghost tours in other areas, Salem, MA, so admittedly our expectations were high, but we did not anticipate such lack of knowledge or professionalism. Our "guide" Olivia spent much time connected to her cellphone during the tour. Strasburg has an abundance of historic homes so one would expect many stops on this tour. No. There were two homes we walked by but were told not to stop to ask questions. We stopped at two graveyards. Our guides comment when she saw a freshly dug grave, "Cool." In our 75 min. tour, we learned WAY too much personal information about our tourguide herself and her immediate family but little facts about Strosburg or the history of its residents. I personally wanted to leave after 10 min., but my husband is more patient than I so we endured the tour. This tour is a terrible waste of one's time and money. If I could, I would give a rating of zero.

My wife and I took the so called Ghost Tour last weekend. In a town that was settled in 1733, you would think they could come up with some kind of research that would include more interesting tales than the ones that were told in this tour. The tour was advertised to be 70 minutes with a stop in the cemetery. At the 80 minute mark, we were no where near the cemetery and 6 people, including ourselves, called it quits and walked back to our cars. The tour guide was all over the place in her presentation and it was difficult to hear over the cars and trucks driving by on the main street. I would have thought we'd have gone to the part of town where most of the older houses were. But instead we went "Uptown" and stopped at several buildings where the story just made zero sense. Although the guide seemed very pleasant, they just didn't seem that well suited for a tour. We've been on many ghost tours from St. Augustine, Savannah, Charleston, and Salem Mass. This one was certainly at the bottom. It would seem like the potential to have a great tour would be there, but not with those stories or presentation.

My cousin and I took the 730pm so called ghost tour tonight and it was terrible. The women who led us around was nice but not right to lead a so called ghost tour. This was a history lesson which bored the group to the point that within the first 30 minutes people started leaving, an hour into the so called tour she lost 7 people. We walked a short time then stood for 30+ minutes while the women rambled on about things not relevant to where we stood, then we would walk 10 feet to stand another 30 min. I plan to call the number on Monday and demand our money back. Don't waste your time on this.

Ghost tours should have a level of intrigue, suspicion and lasting fright. The Strasburg Ghost Tour was more along the lines of "maybe this happened, we don't know."

The town is historic, but there seemed to not be enough history to really warrant a ghost story near where we were. There was a "dark and stormy night" story about the Conestoga wagon trail, one that is supposition at best. The guide had only heard third person that anyone had confirmed hearing anything about the trail that ran through the town.

One thing that irked me was that the guide learned where we were staying nearby, and suddenly had a couple of convenient lukewarm stories about some previous hauntings in the hotel. It was definitely a gimmick to try and instill a little fear into us, but really, I left being more afraid of how much money we spent on the tour.

I'd give it a solid pass. Also, don't ask the guide to to go off script.

Although the price was very reasonable, I'm glad it wasn't a penny more. Nothing spooky or scary about it.
