Well worth the time.

The tour lasts about 35 minutes as it takes you in a buggy ride thru the Amish country near Strasburg. The guide/driver is very knowledgeable of the area and the Amish way of... read more

Ed's farmhouse ride is worth the price. Taking all back roads our guide, Sam, was terrific and knowledgeable. A stop at the farmhouse was great. You never felt rushed and the experience was enjoyed by all - kids ranging from 5 to 14 had a great time. I first came to Ed's 30+ years ago and they're still going strong... More

The tour lasts about 35 minutes as it takes you in a buggy ride thru the Amish country near Strasburg. The guide/driver is very knowledgeable of the area and the Amish way of life, but was not Amish. One of the other buggies had an Amish guide. The trip takes you through the farmland where you can see the Amish... More

We decided to use Ed's Buggy Rides after a friends recommendation and also because their promotion material said the didn't use commercial roads. We arrived at the same time as another family and like others mentioned already were told by Ed ( the owner) that it was either the $16 dollar longer tour or wait over an hour for the... More

I go to Lancaster pretty frequently and so i decided to try Ed's Buggy Rides. My sister and I were so pleased with the 1hour tour with Barbara, who was very informative. I liked taking the back roads and the visit to the Amish farm. They told us up front what the cost was and the goats and horses are... More

I am giving this buggy ride five stars for Sam. He was our Mennonite tour guide today and he was wonderful. He was full of great info and answered our questions. We arrived at the place at about five o'clock. My mom and I were the only customers. They went ahead and put us in a buggy for a 35... More

We took this ride as it was a buggy with just your family. Sam was a great guide and gave a great guided tour on our ride. Little one loved seeing all the other farm animals on the ride.

We went with my son. The old lady riding the buggy made him sit with her in the front. She was very friendly and patient even with stupid questions from children (my son was sitting with another kid from a different party). Her voice was loud and clear. That 30-45 minutes is very informative and pleasant along the country side.

My husband, his mom and aunt and I thoroughly enjoyed this ride!!! Our driver was an Amish gentlemen named John. He was so gracious to explain what was going on at every farm since we were there during harvest season. Great fun!

Barbara was our driver, and was very knowledgeable. The tour was about 1 hour and we went to an Amish farm, which had a delightful shop of local handmade goods at good prices. With 6 on the carriage, we got to chat with our fellow travelers. The cost was $16, good value.
