We love coming here for an overnight. The kids love seeing where they will attend some day. Summer is quiet which makes a good time for visits. Kids brought scooters and rolled around campus while we walk d. Check out: The creamery The corner room The arboretum The stadium of course

Visited PSU to leave my son in college. Campus is beautiful to walk around and State College town right next to campus offers plenty of dining and shopping options. Surrounding area is very nice to drive around.

This is my alma mater, and an enormous campus. It has changed a bit in the last 50 years or so. It is worth visiting, but be prepared to walk, as parking is scarce. It has a lot more than football to offer.

If your son or daughter is thinking of going to Penn State you should know this - it's a huge school with 40,000 undergraduates that spreads out in many directions. The school offers many different academic majors and your child will definitely be entertained here by Big Ten sports, hundreds of clubs and many activities. But it's up to him... More

My favorites to show visitors include: arboretum, Palmer museum, fish tank at HUB (student union), Berkey creamery, Hintz alumni center and grounds including ducks, library (especially Paterno family room that's designed to look like NY public library reading room), the Nittany Lion shrine, "We Are" sculpture, stadium. That should keep you busy for a while!

Took trip out to Pen St with my daughter who is very interested to attend. Impressed with all we saw..big but very small campus if makes sense? Easily walk to all points of campus..including downtown...programs seem top notch..along with support from academia which is huge....nice trip

Was only here temporarily in their metabolomics lab, but it was really quite fun to explore the HUGE campus. The surrounding downtown area is very college-centric and the visiting alumni (as well as students) were quite friendly. Watch out for the random rain showers and humidity west coasters!
