This is what college is all about. A beautiful college in a small town. The mall is lined with dutch elm trees with an expansive greenbelt for any activity. Most buildings are over 100 years old with a nice mix of modern.

PSU is in a very nice area, very safe. There is so much to do and lots of great school spirit ! I can see now why they call it Happy Valley!

There's ALWAYS something to do, somewhere to go, something to learn, and the campus is beautiful. Full of life and of course, students everywhere. Such a nice, friendly atmosphere. Love walking and exploring Downtown State College and the quaint little stores and galleries. Be very careful driving though. Did I mention there are students EVERYWHERE!!

Walked campus at night after a football game, totally slammed up drunk students everywhere. Loud crude and falling down drunks too, not quiet ones. Shameful display and I am an alumni. Tailgates with fully stocked bar and cheap-o malt liquor cans galore.

Loved being able to self tour the campus by car the day before a football game. Looks like a great place to learn!

This weekend my family and I attended our first Penn State game in Happy Valley and we were blown away. Beaver stadium is absolutely incredible and the university has event logistics down to a science. Beautiful area, especially in the Fall season with an electric crowd. So much fun watching the game and getting to experience Penn State athletics. It... More
