We were looking for something close to home (under 90 minutes away) to spend a few hours with our 4 and 1/2 year old. It was a rainy, cool day, so we didn't want to travel the almost 3 hours to Pittsburgh. Husband suggested checking what was available in the State College area and we came across this gem! Yes,... Sure entertainment paired w/ education for your little ones of almost all ages. Displays alternate, with many coming from Mechanical Engineering students at neighbor, Penn State. Local gem, worth a visit and worth supporting. As all science museums, it is fun for teens and adults as well.

Visited with our 6-yr old granddaughter and she had a great time. It had so many great stations and was teaching her while making it fun. Parking can be a little challenging; we drove around a bit to find a parking spot and then had to 'mind the meter'. Would definitely recommend it for anyone with kids 10-12 and under.... More

Kids love this place and they could spend hours there. But, as an adult, I find the place small and drab. I believe they are hoping to relocate to a larger space that would probably solve those issues. On the other hand, there is a good variety of interactive things to keep kids' hands and minds moving. I have visited... More

We took two grandchildren there, ages two and nine. We all enjoyed the experience. We stayed for two hours and the children were interested in the activities the whole time.

We had a birthday party here. We were surprised with the experience. It is really worth the visit if you are entertaining kids. They have a lot of science stuff packed into the space. My only complaint is that some (not all) of the employees were friendly. A bit odd for a place for kids.

This is still a relatively new feature in downtown State College and it is still evolving. I was there recently with my 5 year old nephew and there were parts that he enjoyed but some exhibits were too complex and I was disappointed that the staff was not more proactive explaining things to the kids.

Really great for a few hours of fun and learning. Quick walk to most of the area. Kids loved the hands on learning and the staff and volunteers were vert nice and helpful.

Great place for children and adults also. We could not get our 3 year old granddaughter out. All the hands on exhibits are hand made to show simple to slightly complicated elements .

Almost walked out due to the small size but spent 2 hours in there with her . Don't let the size discourage you there's plenty to do. It's not the Carnagie Science Center but well with the $.
