Great for beginning skiers (and those who've forgotten how to do it)

Small but friendly ski spot, good for beginners. Took my niece for her very first ever ski trip. We had a group lesson (90 min) the first day which was OK for reminding me what I... read more

I've been snowboarding for 20ish years. Snowboarding to me is a fun hobby, surfing is my real passion - so needless to say I just enjoy getting out in the fresh air and going up and down a mountain. I'm low maintenance- I don't need 40 runs or 16 chair lifts. This mountain is perfect for a snowboarder like me.... More

Small but friendly ski spot, good for beginners. Took my niece for her very first ever ski trip. We had a group lesson (90 min) the first day which was OK for reminding me what I learned in the previous lesson. My 7 year old niece also had a private lesson the second day with Pete (who was awesome!). It's... More

Well, a group of us went to snow tube on Saturday 2/11/17 - first off, the staff is flat out RUDE , just a bunch of teenagers that do not care about the safety of anyone! We waited in line for about an hour to get on the tubes, they have ONE worker at the bottom of the hill, and... More

My family went here to try their snow tubing. It was the first time and the last. They make you go on your belly on a tube and drag your feet the whole ride. Right there, I should've gone with me gut, because you can't slow down if there is a layer of ice, which there was. I went air... More

I've skied at Spring Mountain several times. More times than I can count and have always had a great time. However, this was our first time tubing. We had Family from out of town, and we wanted to take them tubing so we bought Tickets online for three adults and three kids. I wish we would have known, or the... More

I've never skied before and my wife suggested Spring Mountain. It's very affordable and within an hour drive from my home. They offer lessons for skiers of all levels and an area for beginners to practice after the lesson. They also have a tubing trail. There are enough trails that it doesn't get overly crowded in one area. All in... More

5th grade son wanted to try skiing with his friends. Hour commute to Spring Mountain on National Day of Service. Even though it was VERY crowded, the parking, equipment rental, lessons, and lift ran pretty smooth. Son had an older husband/wife instructor team. Their style really clicked with him. Most impressive was that they rode up the lift with him... More

We wanted to give Spring Mountain a try for night skiing as it is ao close to Philadelphia area. We have been to Spring before with kids - it is small but it had a quirky old a school feel that we used to like. Our experience tonight was enough for our family to say no more "Spring Mountain". Four... More

We went snow tubing on a sunday over Martin L King Weekend. We had reserved 5 tickets for the snow tubing last week online. When we got to the ticket window for tubing-that is a separate window from the ski tickets, they needed to have our reservation name and confirmation number as they had not printed out our tickets. In... More
