Very nice facility. Great place to see a concert or a play. It is over 10 years old but very well maintained.

We had tickets for Alan Parsons and while there for that show, went to the box office and decided to buy tickets for Collective Soul the next night. This venue isn't around the corner for us but it's worth the drive. As others have said, the seats are comfy, the space is not huge, not small, the acoustics are great, the ushers are polite (uncommon in my experience with other venues), they let you bring your drink to your seat, and unless someone stands in front of you, the visibility to the stage is excellent. I have been to quite a few concert halls, venue's whatever you want to call them and I have to say the H. Ric Luhr Center for performing arts is at the top of the list. Free Parking and plenty of it, easy in and out access. The Hall itself has a tasteful decor and the seating is excellent as well as comfortable. Not a bad seat in the house. The accustics are fabulous, you won't be disapointed. Ticket prices are more than reasonable.…

The Luhrs Center is a great location for concerts. The seats are comfortable. The aisles are now deep, but do accommodate most average size visitors. There are no obstructions or impediments. The sound is very good. It is close to home and has free parking close by. Getting out of the parking lot after a concert can be a challenge but just be patient. The only small detractor is that the restrooms are not large and they do get crowded during intermissions or before concerts. They do schedule a good variety of events from country music to off broadway plays to Military bands. A hidden gem in Shippensburg.…

We had a great experience at the Luhrs center. Entry into the center was simple and hassle free. There was a beer and wine bar on the second level. Beer was $6 for a 12oz can that was poured into a cup with lid and straw so that it could be taken to the seating area. Seating was suprisingly spacious. The artist we saw allowed use of cameras and cell phones and there were no issues. I would reccomend the Luhrs center and hope to return in the future. We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Shippensburg and walked to the center in about 7 minutes. …
