Referred here by Amish buggy driver. Off the main roads, worth the drive. Truly Amish goods and employees, except for a few items made in China or elsewhere. Not sure why they'd offer them. But they do have authentic delicious fresh hot pretzels!

Years ago I was quite disappointed in this place. Well we visited again and it has really improved. The owner was very friendly. The swing set outside by the animals was a great kid spot. It is really in the heart of farmland and gives you the feeling of what serenity this land produces. Go and visit!

This is a must for anyone who is in the area, or even if your not! Everything is worth the trip, but the pretzels are worth the trip all by themselves. We bought many items from pies to pickles and everything was excellent! Hand made wood products are top quality and there are some very novel items. We will definitely... More

I actually found this location last year through TripAdvisor. And it is one of my favorites. Great prices and nice selection of baked goods, crafts etc

Incredible pretzels, 3 for $5 was more than worth the price. Also excellent pumpkin whoopee pies and good priced trinkets and souvenirs

This is the best road stand in Amish country. Beautiful crafts and Amish-made items, delicious baked goods, homemade lemonade, root beer and, oh...the pretzels! Hot and buttery. These alone make it worth the trip. Only complaint...it didn't have fruit or vegetables.

Stopped there and like all other stands that cater to the tourist trade in that area for the Amish and Mennonites they did have a decent setup. I made the mistake of buying "hot" salsa for myself and one for my son in law that loves the heat. Their salsa was the most bland I ever tasted with absolutely no... More

Countryside Road Stand is one of my favorite places to go while in the Amish Country! I have been stopping here for years; ever since they first opened and made their pretzels in a small trailer/kitchen. Over the years this place has grown to include a huge store selling a wide array of locally made items ranging from baskets to... More

I had read other people's reviews of the Country Road Stand. Prices were great, lots assorted items. We bought a quillow and a hand painted saw. Best prices of any where I looked. The young woman working in the store was pleasant and very helpful. I would highly recommend. I tried the 25 cent root beer it was really good.... More

Have been here MANY times, and generally visit daily when in the area. My husband can never get enough of these soft pretzels and in fact, won't buy them anywhere else in LC. The store is great as well, lots of items/souvenirs to buy. Make this shop a must stop when in Lancaster County.
