I had read other people's reviews of the Country Road Stand. Prices were great, lots assorted items. We bought a quillow and a hand painted saw. Best prices of any where I looked. The young woman working in the store was pleasant and very helpful. I would highly recommend. I tried the 25 cent root beer it was really good.... More

Have been here MANY times, and generally visit daily when in the area. My husband can never get enough of these soft pretzels and in fact, won't buy them anywhere else in LC. The store is great as well, lots of items/souvenirs to buy. Make this shop a must stop when in Lancaster County.

Stopped here as part of a bus tour from the Amish Farm. We bought 2 pretzels and root beer and everything was so good that we regret we didn't buy extra. Very polite service. The gift store was very interesting, many quilts and local crafts. The bird feeders and houses were very high quality and reasonably priced. Wide selection of... More

YOU HAVE GOT TO STOP HERE!!!!! This place was amazing!!! They had the best pretzels I've ever eaten in my entire life!!! I highly recommend getting TWO PRETZELS and a cup of lemonade, have a seat and sit a spell and take in the scenery. They also have an assortment of homemade goods.

This is a nice stop in the rural part of Amish country. Quilts, food, and homemade root beer, which is great. The people are friendly and prices are very reasonable.

Sadly, the pretzel area was not open, as I visited in March. I believe the sign said it was going to open at the end of the month. The gift shop is very nice too.

Had the chance to go there for half an hour as part of our Amish Country Farmlands tour and loved it. Eli, who owns the place, and his family took good care of us. The pretzels though, had to be the highlight for this place as they were so soft, warm and buttery. They also have great locally made goods... More

I see why people say this is the #1 shopping in the county. We didn’t see better prices anywhere else and loved that you can buy homemade root beer for a quarter a cup. We loved the wide selection of homemade souvenirs—many of them very practical. They also have a lot of great paintings. (Well, I’d be very happy to... More
