The Railroad Museum is world class with a great display of vintage railroading. Vey clean, well lit, easy to navigate and special programs for children make this an enjoyable visit. Couple that with the Strasburg Railroad across the street and you have a full day...More

An outstanding collection of locomotives and rolling stock used by the Pennsylvania Railroad (and other NE RR's). Some rare and close to "one of a kind" examples in the collection. Also some neat model railroad layouts. A couple highly detailed HO layouts that depict typical...More

Outstanding examples of old and modern railroad locomotives and cars. Superb restorations. Great history on each displayed piece. Highly educational with realistic displays at each station. Wonderful for all ages. Give yourself a solid two hours plus to read all the information.

One of the very experiences my wife and I have ever had. Like railroads? This is the best place to learn about railroads. The self guided tour will take at least two hours if done correctly. Totally worthwhile.

You should do the museum after sight and sound so that you have time. My 11 year old son loved the museum and railroad. Enjoy!
