One of the very experiences my wife and I have ever had. Like railroads? This is the best place to learn about railroads. The self guided tour will take at least two hours if done correctly. Totally worthwhile.

The Museum is rich with railroading history. We especially enjoyed the Steam Engine tour we took around the Strasburg area.We rode in the lounge car with huge comfy swivel chairs, a bar and small selection of treats.

Having been fascinated by trains all of our lives, my hubby and I spent about 3 hours here. The trains and their histories were worth the time. If you like trains, this museum is a must.

You should do the museum after sight and sound so that you have time. My 11 year old son loved the museum and railroad. Enjoy!
