We arrived near closing, but the nice lady still allowed us to go through. It was really fun, and educational. I wished we had more time to explore. It would not take too long to go through thoroughly. Kids loved it. Very kid friendly. Nice...More

We walked in and the lady asked if we were there for a "tour". The older lady running it walked us around to each exhibit and did each thing with us and our 2 kids, age 3 and 5. She had to talk in depth...More

This experience is an ABSOLUTE MUST when visiting Punxsutawney. The museum curator was incredibly fun to visit with and full of great info pertaining to all things weather! It made a lifetime memory for us!

We visited the Punxy Weather Discovery Center on Saturday, August 12, 2017. Posted hours on the door stated the center was open until 4 p.m., with last admission at 3:30. We arrived at 3:05 to find the door locked. We were extremely disappointed.

A side trip to here was an excellent way to spend some time to learn more about the weather with new technology. And old wives tales are they true? You have to see for your self there families your kids would enjoy this!

The museum is fairly small, but there is enough to keep you busy for a good amount of time. The price can't be beat (only $6) and the people who work there are nice and friendly and make sure you are enjoying your time in...More

The Discovery Center is a great place for children as it has many hands on activities for them. Very interesting facts about weather and there is a very educational 20 minute film you can watch. The staff was very friendly.
