A really great place to enjoy musical performances, plays and other theatrical performances in a somewhat intimate setting. The theater has only 200 seats, and they are all modern and very comfortable. They even have built-in cup holders. The restoration of the building was done very well and nearly authentic to the time when it was in its hayday. The chandeliers and sidelights are very impressive and do their job very well...without glare. A small lobby where the requisite freshly made popcorn, drinks, candy, etc., are available at reasonable prices. Ticket prices are quite reasonably priced, too. Check the website for the current schedule, pick one and go. You'll enjoy yourself.

This is a small venue in downtown Pottsville. I saw an Elvis impersonator there. The acoustics are not great and the narrow building is not conducive for great views from the rear. Since its in downtown Pottsville, there is always parking issues and the dirty condition of the area. Caveat emptor on this place.

Thank you for visiting and reviewing our historic theater. We hope that you enjoyed the show despite your dissatisfaction with the acoustics. On evenings and weekends, there's generally good availability of on-street parking. There are a few nearby parking lots and a large parking deck just 400 feet away. Please check our website for the variety of upcoming events!

Great job re-habbing the old theatre. Love the atmosphere. The people that run it are friendly. Hopefully, the programs continue to grow.

Haven't been back in awhile, but certainly wish I have! The Majestic is a great place, for those of all ages!
