We've been on the tour of the Yuengling Brewery twice in two years. We went back a second time because we enjoyed our first experience so much, and we weren't disappointed. First off, this tour is FREE! An important point to make is that this tour is not wheelchair accessible, and it requires some level of physical fitness to walk... More

This unique brewery tour is worth the ride! The history of this brewery is fascinating and the tour was very informative. It was a hot day so I should have worn lighter clothing, but I was glad I had worn (as recommended) comfy shoes! The group we were with was quite large and at the end when a sample was... More

We went on the tour of the Yuengling Brewery - oldest in America and still run by the original Yuengling family. Best time to go is Monday thru Friday while they are in production. A truly fascinating tour. The tour guide, Lou, was excellent. And there were samples at the end.

We took the 50 minute tour of this Brewery that has been owned and operated by the same family since 1829. It is a fascinating tour, the tour guide, (Lou) was knowledgable and gave a great presentation. The tour is free and at the end they give a small taste testing in their "Tavern". There is a nice gift store... More

Did the Yuengling Brewery tour at the site of the original brewery with its caves to keep the beer cool before refrigeration. The gal giving us the tour was a 'ham' and we had a great time throughout the tour. Partial education on Prohibition, beer making and just having fun!!

A free tour that demonstrates the entrepreneurial spirit, history, technology, and culture. A true family business that gives back to the community.

You get a free tour with free samples, but you'll have a good enough time to drop too much money in the gift shop regardless. It's full of surprises, including cave and tunnel system originally built to chill kegs, but probably also used during prohibition. It's also haunted. One of the daughters of the original owner reportedly wanders the tunnels.... More

The girlfriend and I drove 2.5 miles out to Pottsville to check out my favorite beer brewery as a late birthday gift. The tour was awesome, brewery was filled with history, and the free samples of some of their newer brews were great. People came from all over the country to see the nations oldest brewery and I'd definitely recommend... More

Not your average boring brewery tour. They let you get up close and personal with the plant. Starting with the historic caverns/caves, showing how the kegs are filled, onto the giant kettles, into the packing room where cans whiz by at 100mph, and finally into the historic bar/tasting room. I thought I would be bored, but this place is seriously... More

Enjoyed the tour and hearing the history of the brewery. The tour guide mentioned that they are opening a new gift shop and museum across the street in January 2016.
