A modest collection of classic automobiles and other vehicles owned my the museum’s namesake, Jerry. All vehicles are great condition and supposedly are operable. In addition to the vehicles the museum contains a seemingly overwhelming collection of period automotive, clothing, curios, soda fountain and drive in memorabilia as well as standard service station and repair shop tools, equipment and parts. Museum is in a former automobile dealership so some parts are a bit industrial. As time draws further from the period some additional interpretative signs and consistency would enhance the visitor experience and understanding of what they are seeing. Worth the trip but avoid Sundays as most everything else in town is closed.

Large variety of collections. I could spend hours at this museum. So much to see. So worth the trip. A must see experience if you enjoy items from the past. So much variety and detail.

Was in Pottsville for the first time in years and stopped at the museum. What a gem. Full of memorabilia from the past including collector cars, car parts, signs, gas pumps, etc...upstairs was FUN...a full soda fountain, malt shop, everything doo wop! Loved it! The only thing though is not too much parking available in lot. If it's crowded you probably would need to park on street.

This museum was smaller than anticipated. Not too many cars but lots of memorabilia. No air conditioning which was tough on the hot humid day I visited. Not really what I was expecting as I am a huge old car buff and less interested in memorabilia a/k/a the stuff I grew up with!!!

We found this by doing a simple web search and were very surprised when we arrived. This is so much more than a "museum" this is an amazing collection of cars, and so much more. We found it especially interesting as all the cars have a local history as does many of the other items that can be seen here. Other than the cars this building has many areas that you can walk through that are recreations of things like an office or diner. It is amazing what the owner has created in this building and as far as we are concerned is a must see. There is a small admission fee which is reduced with AAA or some other affiliations.

This is an attraction not to be missed! If you grew up in the 60's or 50's, you will be in awe! First, yes, there are cars. They change them up periodically. We saw everything from a '42 delivery truck to a flashy yellow '55 Chevy, from a '52 DeSoto to early mustangs, and many more! But it wasn't just the cars. It was like walking into a 50's local repair garage. And they had everything, every tool, every machine, old ledgers . . . I mean, seriously, everything. Then there were millions of other artifacts from early times: radios, record players, sewing machines, pressers, washing machines . . . Everything your parents had in the house in the 50's. then The they had multiple soda fountain set-ups, with all the milkshake makers, popcorn machines, and everything from behind the counter back in the day. And there were some historic things, like the front page of the Newark paper from the day of the Kennedy assassination and the Roosevelt internment. I'm not kidding when I say you could spend an entire day there without seeing everything. From the outside, it's not very impressive, but once you get inside you'll be dazzled! If you're a nostalgia buff, you'll never want to leave!

We were in town to visit Yuengling and this came up on my radar. The building was once the Studebaker Dealer and has been converted to an amazing array of Classic Cars, Classic Auto Memorabilia and General Memorabilia from decades ago. The second floor of the building has been converted into areas that depict life in the 40's, 50's and 60's: Soda Shop, Barber Shop. Auto Shop and areas of what home life was like. There is such an eclectic mix of memorabilia it would be hard to not find at least one piece that reminds you of a time in your life. Jerry is personable and will talk with you about his collection or almost anything you want. A very enjoyable experience. There is an attached parking lot, street parking and other stores in the area. This is open seasonal so make certain they are there before venturing to Pottsville.

There are some nice old and not so old cars on display. But the real attraction to us was the thousands of memorabilia on hand from the late 50's to early 70's. My wife and I enjoyed this stuff as much as the cars on display. Worth the trip.

Great way to spend a few hours walking through the
museum. There are a variety of items throughout the museum
that are of interest to more than the car buffs. You will enjoy saying do you remember this. It's also fun taking younger children and trying to explain to them what the items are and how they were used "Back in the Day.

If you love oldies (50's-60's) you will LOVE this place. It is awesome the way it is set up with all antiques. Looks like an old malt shop. Upstairs and on the main level. LOTS to look at...I go there every year when I am in Pottsville for the Car Show/Cruise.
