Our family visited the site for tubbing on August 31, 2020. Initially, we were bummed because the weather was not what we’d hoped (70 , w/ overcast) , despite the temperature, the water was warm, temperature was ideal, and and we floated for 2 hours without the harsh rays from the sun. We were a bit anxious from reading prior reviews about the adherence to COVID-19 precautions, however, rest assured that the staff complies with all recommendations. The tubes are sprayed after each use, we asked that they do it again in our presence and they appeased us. The vest and bus go through a chemical fog sanitation after each trip. The bus was sparsely filled to accommodate social distancing, everyone wore masks. Once on the river, most people took off their masks but we were far enough apart that this did not pose any issues. The water was shallow for the most part, my 7 year old was able to stand most of the way, however there are points along the river that the water is deep. If you go early, there are less crowds( we went at 10:30) by the time we finished our float (12:30) there were double or triple the amount of cars in the lot. They offer cheap souvenirs and comparably priced food options that are pretty good. I would suggest that you bring hand sanitizer or maybe that’s me because I’m a germaphobe, it gave me piece of mind due to the volume of people and surfaces that you may come in contact with. Overall, it was a GREAT trip and we felt safe. We DEFINITELY plan to visit again!!!!!!

When we first arrived we were met by a young lady who sat at the entrance of the parking lot. She simply ask are name and then had a hard time finding us on the list. She then handed us wrist bands, blue ones with the equipment name written on them and a black wrist band. She never explaining what the black wrist bands were for and we never did find out what if anything that wrist band indicated. Once we parked and followed the arrows on the ground which directed us to enter one of two lines, one marked tubing and the other marked kayaks. We were going kayaking, however the kayaking line had a chair set in the line so that no one could enter that line. We assumed we needed to use the tubing line. there was no one to give us direction , no signs, no information. After making our way through the tubing line we told an employee that we were there for kayaking. Ben the employee was the first person who had a helpful attitude and seamed to want to help us get to where we needed to go. We followed Ben to get our paddles and he instructed us which bus to get on for our kayaking experience. After a short bus ride we arrived at the river entry point and Ben retrieved the kayaks we were to use. Ben was very helpful and accommodating. After getting in the kayak and paddling away from shore I became aware that the seat back was not working correctly and that the seat should have been adjusted prior to getting into the kayak. So for the remainder of the trip I had to paddle in a semi-prone position until I took of my life vest to stuff in behind me so that I could row sitting up right. I realize the equipment gets used a lot but the buckle that holds the seat back in place was broken and had been broken for some time, someone had tied a knot in it to get some use out of it. The seat should have been adjusted for the rower prior to use, never having kayaked before I was not aware the seat could be adjusted until examining the equipment while on the river. The river was running fast so our 2 hour trip was cut to about 1.5 hours. At the end of our trip we pulled to shore where we were met by two older men who were pulling the kayaks up on the shore. Our group of 4 all in our sixties were having trouble getting from sitting position in the kayaks to standing yet neither men tried to help any of us get out of the kayaks. They just stood there and watched us struggle. They didn't ask how our experience was, in fact they never said anything to us. I know this isn't Disney but come on the staff should act like there want you there instead of being a nuisance to their day. The equipment should work properly and be adjusted for each rower. When going kayaking again I'll look for a location that might be more accommodating even if it's further away. A little customer service training and attitude training would go a long way here.

This was my first time (ever) tubing and the first time for my family tubing in a river. Passively floating in a tube is not my idea of excitement. Perhaps BECAUSE my expectations were low, I did actually enjoy the trip.
The operation is pretty smooth, from entry, to parking to getting your flotation device, to boarding the bus to jumping in the river upstream.
The river is quite shallow and we had to stand up and walk in a few spots so our butts didn't hit the rocks, but I found this to be a plus - it made the trip less monotonous and added some activity. Make sure to bring (or rent) tethers and don't let go of your tube - they can get away from you very easily/quickly. We were prepared for the sun but didn't expect the cold. While the air temperature was 80 degrees, being wet and the slight breeze made us cold to the point we were shivering by the time we got out of the water.

We reserved deluxe tubes but were provided with regular tubes upon arrival. This being our first time, we didn't realize the mistake until it was too late. When I contacted River Country via email about this error, they credited the difference almost immediately! I don't think I've ever had a better customer service response than this. It shows that they really care about their business.

We found this company online and were impressed with their attention to being safe during COVID from what their website says. We ordered everything online - the tube, paid for parking, also bought a tethering rope online (DO NOT BUY THE ROPE ONLINE).

Also the website said it would be mandatory for everyone to wear a mask once on the property. We did find that majority of the customers did not have their masks on, and some staff also were wearing it below their nose. I do get that it is harder to enforce, but when it is busy and people are in close contact on the property, people should be wearing masks even if it is outside. There should be more signage so customers wear it and also staff should be the example.

Another thing, there is an option online to buy a tethering rope. However once you get there all the staff say you can not buy it online and need to purchase it in person at the stall. Either they need to take away the option online, or better note that people can in fact purchase the rope online.

The actual tubing experience was beautiful once you were on the river. It was safe and so calming. If you pick a time near the end of the day the staff does come out on a boat to make sure you do get back safely.

We really enjoyed our experience kayaking on the Delaware! After researching other possible kayaking sites, we settled on this one because they had the most extensive COVID precautions. We appreciated the requirement for reservations, although there were significantly more people than expected, even at 4 PM (the last reservation of the day). This led to being in closer proximity than I expected, but I did appreciate how all of the guests were wearing masks. We did note a couple of the employees not wearing masks or taking them down around guests; while we understand that it can get really hot for them, masks should be worn around guests at ALL times. The cleaning procedures involved spraying a cleaning chemical over seats on the bus transporting you to the launch site and all of the equipment. We were glad to see that they were taking some steps to ensure cleanliness but were not confident that it was adequate. Once we got on the water, the kayaking was great and we had a fun time. Our time on the river was about 1.75-2 hrs, which felt like a nice amount of time. The cost of the kayaking was also reasonable compared to other sites. We would definitely go again, but I would like to see the cleaning of equipment improved.

We purchased vouchers from Groupon for the tubing and used them on Friday Aug 5.
Our day was sensational ! Everything went seamlessly when we arrived and we got on the bus to take us a few miles away where the tubing began. I chose the tandem tube for 2 and we loved it. The water in the river was warm and also not deep. On a few occasions I got out of the tube and held onto the handles to just enjoy the water. The scenery is beautiful on the slow ride down the river and it took a little over 2 hours from the time we got on the water to the end. I recommend doing this on a nice warm day like we had. We are already talking about doing it again next year!

Fun family day amidst Covid-19! We've done canoeing both before Covid and now. We felt very comfortable with their Covid-19 precautions. In addition, most guests wore masks, even while outside (and everyone inside the bus wore masks).

It looked like they kept the bus at <25% of capacity (the whole school bus had just 7 people).

The Delaware river is very clear. We saw lots of wildlife, including different turtles, Cormorants, Heron, and other birds. When we were done, we thought about going back to try kayaking.

I've been tubing with Bucks County River Country at least four times now, and every time is such a hassle. The teenagers they hire treat you with disrespect, they don't work with you to make sure you have a good time, and they make sure they charge for every last thing. Last summer my group and I went over to Delaware River Tubing, which is just across the river, and had a MUCH better experience. They have no problem letting you bring a cooler, they don't charge for parking, and they include a hot dog lunch in the price of your tube. By contrast, Bucks County does none of those things (they didn't even want to let us bring a cooler with water, we had to fight with them so that we didn't pass out from dehydration), and they weren't hospitable in the slightest. We'll definitely be going back to Delaware River Tubing next year, where you're treated with more respect and the only inconvenience is being bused back to site after tubing.

The staff at Bucks County River Country are amazing. We had to re-book our trip because of weather, and it took exactly 1 email and it was taken care of. I love how they are following COVID-19 best practices in PA with mask wearing, extra sanitation procedures and no contact payment via their website. We had a wonderful time relaxing on the river and enjoying the outdoors. I would highly recommend this experience!!!

We got a groupon which made the already affordable price amazing! Had party of 10 no lines at all- did 2 hour tubes. They were nice and helpful. We were on the way to another place whose line was EXTREMELY long, with half naked girls in line so we opted out (we are religious) and turns out was able to get a group of 10 with group on for 179 plus parking. You have to register before arriving. Be aware once you cross in to PA where this is on side of Delaware the cell service is really poor. Once you get there though you can log in to their wifi. It was overall a really nice experience.
