Awesome experience. We rented two hybrid bikes from Bike The Burgh with included panniers (two 20L waterproof bags), handlebar bag, and helmet to do the GAP/C&O trail (about 350 miles total) from Pittsburgh to Washington DC. Communications with Val and her team were great beforehand and we got superb service at the shop. We stopped in the day before our ride to check out the bikes and get the panniers so we could pack our belongings. We travelled from New Mexico and Texas to Pittsburgh and had some anxiety leading up to the trip as to whether we should bring our own panniers and whether we could fit our stuff in the panniers provided by Bike The Burgh. We chose to use those provided by BTB and they worked out great. The start day of the ride we were each properly fitted to our bikes. BTB provided 2 inner tubes and a patch kit for each bike and a shared tool set, pump, and cable lock. We had a flat along the way and having an extra inner tube was handy. The hybrid bikes provided we great quality and had the proper tires for the various surfaces for the long ride. We opted to drop the bikes off in DC (in our case a local bike shop) and they were shipped back. I highly recommend using Bike The Burgh.

We enjoyed learning about the city, and fun insider insights about Pittsburgh life and culture. I was especially keen to learn about the city's architectural gems, and Harry was quite knowledgeable. It was an enjoyable, relaxing and educational 3 hours.

My partner and I experienced the Black and Ghost tour (with Hannah) and the Walk the Burgh tour (with Kane). We had a great time. Hannah & Kane were both very enthusiastic and provided a lot of interesting historical information. The best tours involve tour guides who are really invested and engaged in their city and its history (real and ethereal). Sorry that we didn't have enough time for the bike tour. Your tours make me want to visit again! Thanks for introducing us to a great city!

We rented two bikes from Bike the Burgh to ride the GAP trail from Cumberland to Pittsburgh. The bikes were clean as a whistle and well maintained. We picked up the bikes from Dave who made sure we found our way to the river trail (yes, he personally rode us to the trail!). When we dropped off the bikes we met with the owner, Valentina, who was a joy to chat with. Overall it was a very good experience. Highly recommended!

Our Tour Guide Harry was well versed in Pittsburg history and was personable. We had only 4 people (a Tuesday before summer) and we had a great time. Based on the tour it gave me some ideals to finish my remaining days in town. The area we rode were safe and fun for any age group. Thanks Harry for a great morning ride.

We had a wonderful time with Harry as our tour guide. We had 3 adults and 2 kids (20 and 15 yo). We saw so much in a short period of time. Saw point place park, Heinz stadium, pnc park, market square, the strip and so much more. Good talking points throughout and enough resting spots. We loved it! Even my 15 year old son gave it a thumbs up.

Had a wonderful time - Harry was an excellent guide and we learned a great deal about the city of Pittsburgh and it's history. Covered a lot of distance and saw everything we wanted to see. We felt very comfortable riding with him, and he carefully got us around the city. He was very knowledgeable and had notes for the specifics, and relevant photos from the past. The bikes were good quality, and both Harry and Val were very conscientious about making sure our bikes fit us properly. Would highly recommend Bike the Burgh tours. Will take a walking tour the next time we're in town!

What a great tour of Pittsburgh. Very friendly tour guide who gave us the tour even though we were the only two booked for the dAy. A great storyteller, he told us about the past, present and future of Pittsburgh. Flat riding. No hills. And superb bikes, we covered a lot of ground. Fun time.
