This is a place to explore if one is looking for something unique for the home, garden, or as a gift. I found steel bats (large, small, and mama with baby) to hang from the wall. I plan to put them on my patio. There are also rain chains, wind chimes, Christmas ornaments, yard sculptures, etc. Artwork is sources from many artists and locations. Well worth the visit!

If you are looking for a present that is not a run of the mill everyday item, this is your place. The art items here are so unique. My parents are hard to buy for. We were able to find yard/ garden items for both of them. Reasonably priced and the staff was extremely friendly. We will be back.

It is often hard to find these gems - but this shop is definitely one of them. We had been to a lot of shopping places in Pittsburgh, but this one had the most unique items. Lots of amazing stuff made from metals, as well as arts and crafts, rocks, and Pittsburgh souvenirs that are not junk made in China items. Good service, and reasonable prices also.

While at the Duquesne Incline, another tourist recommended Art of Steel to visit while we were in the Strip District of downtown Pittsburgh. Amazing talent using steel - from wine bottle holders to whimsical characters. The metal works are definitely not toys for youngsters. Young adults (teens) to seniors would enjoy this art. There were also tile works (6x6) which I purchased one with cardinals for a friend. For myself, a very lucky stone - I haven't used it, yet! ;) There were wind chimes, rain bells, metal signs...the list goes on. So glad this business was recommended to us. I would have purchased more but my husband and I had limited space on our motorcycle.

Amazing&fun metal work. I liked the jewelry made with natural stones...simply beautiful. They also had loose stones you don't typically find around town. Friendly staff too, I'll be back!
