This is a very intimate theater. It was such a great venue. Parking was available in the garage less than a block away. We picked up our tickets at the box office with very little waiting just before the event. The staff was kind and assisted as needed. Go see a live production!

One word can describe this one-man show with Rocky = OUTSTANDING!! What an experience to listen to Rocky share his life stories. The O'Reilly Theatre is the perfect venue for this, too.

The O'Reilly is the home of the Pittsburgh Public Theater. It is a more intimate theater experience compared to Heinz Hall or the Benedum, which are located nearby. It also has the seats arranged so that the audience surrounds the stage on three sides. Most recently I saw a performance of 1776 in this theater, and I felt as if I was on stage with the actors. I even had to move a little during the finale to allow some of the actors to go by (I was sitting in seat A101). The PPT puts on a variety of shows, from classics to more contemporary pieces. The ticket prices are not as high as at some of the other theaters, which is a nice bonus. I try to go once or twice a year to support the theater, and I always enjoy the performance.

Pittsburgh (and visitors of Pittsburgh) come an support the Pittsburgh Public Theater. We saw our first performance here and the theater is fantastic. There is not a bad seat in the house! Small but not small. Very accessible for everyone. They have a lobby and second floor bar if you would like a drink, wine, soft drink or coffee before the show or during intermission. They also have a snack bars if case you need a something to munch on (candy or even cake in the upstairs area).
The staff was very welcoming and helped us to our seats since this was our first visit. Everyone was very friendly. We were lucky because we got to see a performance we were looking forward to seeing. However, even if you don't know a play or show, come to see this beautifully put together theater in the middle of Pittsburgh performing arts area. It is not to be missed.

The O'Reilly Theater is really beautiful. I hope to see more productions or concerts there, since the space is gorgeous. I haven't seen a show done by Pittsburgh Public Theater since they moved, but I'm sure they still do a really good job with all their productions. I look forward to enjoying more shows and venue in the future. I can't imagine that there's a bad seat in the theater. It's really well designed and very intimate.

Enjoy going to this small intimate theater. Just saw Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus. Was a great one man act!. Always enjoy the productions at this little theater. Table service for food (mostly small plates) and you can also get drinks before and during performance intermissions.Bar is also attached. Lots of parking nearby and many other restaurant choices also close.

Celebrating our anniversary, my wife and I saw Xanadu on a Friday night. It was a super fun experience and would be fun to do with more couples. There are different types of tables; high tops, regular and then sort of general admission seats. You can order food and drinks and that makes it a real ‘Dinner and a show’ experience. One note is that the tables seat 4 people. If you only have two you may be places with others-not necessarily a bad thing but you just need to know that ahead of time. We will definitely go back!
