Walking across this bridge before the Pirates game was a fun experience. There were many vendors selling everything from food to photographs to jewelry. At the end of the bridge near PNC Park, there was a large tribute statue to the bridge's namesake.

We parked across the river for a Pirates game at PNC Park. They close the bridge to vehicles on game days and have a bunch of food trucks and vendors park along it. Cool walk as you head to the stadium.

It is an easy walk across this historic bridge. You get a great view of the city as well as PNC park. We walked back on the adjacent Andy Warhol bridge.

Walking across the bridge from my hotel to PNC for Friday and Saturday night games was so much fun. There was no shortage of food or Pirates fans. It's a short walk- about 5 minutes. Now every time I see Pirates home game on TV, I will remember the festive atmosphere on a beautiful bridge.

Really neat to walk across before/during and after a Bucs game. Great views of the river, skyline and PNC Park.

I'm not sure how you review a bridge, but it was sturdy and it got me across the river. So I guess that mean's it's done it's job. All kidding aside, there was a food truck rally on the bridge while I was in town. That was pretty cool. People stopping to grab a bite on their way to a... More

We always go there on Pirate game day. They close down the bridge to cars and have all sorts of food and art vendors. Not sure what the deal with all the locks is but it's kind of cool.

Beautiful and convenient bridge that Pittsburgh closes to traffic so everyone in downtown Pittsburgh can walk across the short bridge to PNC park or Heinz field.

How do you rate a bridge? If you are walking across it on a Pittsburgh Pirates game day, it will be closed to traffic! It is a part of the whole "PNC Park" experience. Stop in the middle and take in the river view! It is amazing! The walk back over the bride after a WIN is also an important... More
