We were in town for a concert and we're wandering the waterfront path when we found Mr. Rogers. What a great memorial to him - I love the music and his voice playing in the background. Worth a stop if you're in the area!

During our recent weekend in Pittsburgh, we found the statue of Fred on the North Shore. Very close to the stadiums, and a great photo opportunity for any fan of the show - young and old. Take a few minutes and stop.

I made my family stay in Pittsburgh tonight just so I could scout out all things Mister Rogers. This was a score! Albeit the statue is kinda lumpy--not sure whose call that was! The setting along the river is beautiful. My biggest delight and surprise...More

Great to see a familiar face along the river. Mister Roger's was the best friend to our kids growing up and a true Pittsburger. Glad he is remembered in such a great way.

I always enjoyed watching the Mr. Rogers Neighborhood show with my children when they were small. It was broadcast from Pittsburgh so on my recent visit there, I was pleased to see they had honored him with a statue. It is a nicely done memorial,...More

can't find a listing for the North Shore in general. Overall, this area has really improved since I grew up there 20+ years ago. Nice open space along the river, going all the way up past the three sisters bridges. Wasn't very impressed with the...More

Loved the soundtrack at the statue with Mr. Rogers singing and talking to us. I walked here before dawn and watched the sun rise over the city. What a beautiful day in the neighborhood!
