Okay Waterpark

This is just an okay water park. The lazy river is REALLY slow to the point where some of the life guards were pushing peoples tubes to move them along. In addition to that... read more

Pools have giant hairballs & bandaids floating in them. Lazy river is filthy & bad customer service.

My husband and I chose to bring our kids who are ages 9 and 21 months old because we had heard it was a nice park. It was amazing! It has an older boardwalk feel to it. There are a variety of pools for all ages. There are 4 total. One is the classic wave pool which we did not... More

Me and my family had a wonderful time at sandcastle. The park is very clean and convenient. We went on a Sunday so the lines were a little long. Although we had a nice place under a tree with lounge chairs so it was very relaxing. Food and drink prices are reasonable. There's something to do for all ages.

This is just an okay water park. The lazy river is REALLY slow to the point where some of the life guards were pushing peoples tubes to move them along. In addition to that, they really need to do something about the goose droppings which were laying all along the sides of the lazy river - at certain points it... More

Great place for people of all ages. Well kept, neat and clean. Look for specials on website. We paid $19.99. Our group ranged in age from 5 to 69.

Had out of town guests come to visit, thought it would be nice to come here since I just moved to Pittsburgh and was given a season pass. We paid $12 for "preferred" parking and ended up being directed to general parking anyways. We were given incorrect information at the "information" booth which led myself, 2 other adults and 4... My 13-year old son and I were almost deterred from visiting Sandcastle due to negative reviews, but decided to take a chance. We ended up having a lovely day. This is not a modern mega-waterpark, but we spent the whole day and didn't get bored. The park is a little run down, but is still sanitary. The restrooms were well... More

We visited Sandcastle in Pittsburgh in early August on a Friday. This is a nice park with plenty of slides, pools, & areas for all ages. They have an area for young kids called "wet Willeys". This area is really meant for kids who are comfortable with water, not the real young ones. The water is not deep here, but... More

I felt the pool areas were extremely clean. There were a few mishaps and the life guard were on it right away. There is plenty to eat and the prices were not terrible. I saw people also bring coolers which I thought was nice. I will know for next time. There seems to be a lot of kiddie areas. 4... More

Beware of height restrictions!!! My son got tickets to this park as a birthday present. He is 8 years old and only 46". There is not one water slide in this park that he is allowed to ride. The only attractions he was allowed in were the wave pool, the lazy river, and a small activity area designed for toddlers.... More
