Best view of the Ohio river in Pittsburgh

I really like to go to the Drum Bar at the Rivers Casino and sit in front of the floor to ceiling windows to watch the river traffic on the Ohio river. The view from here is... read more

I really like to go to the Drum Bar at the Rivers Casino and sit in front of the floor to ceiling windows to watch the river traffic on the Ohio river. The view from here is fantastic. The bar is a non smoking section of the casino so for me this is a big plus. I also like the... More

Hated having to walk thru Smoky Casino to get to/from dinner. Food was mediocre. When asked what kind of wine do you have? Bartender replied Red & White- I ordered a white, when another person walked up & asked for a White Zinfandel, that's my preference. The Bartender said, "That's a Blush" & never offered to swap mine out.

A nice, upscale casino. Good table game and slot choices. Restaurants are good. Drinks are expensive and not free or discounted while playing.

Hard to say since we were unable to make it inside. It was the day of a Steeler Game and they were charging $65 to park; the attendant said that I'd likely get my $65 back if I played certain machines. We were from out of town; parents live near Tioga Downs Casino in upstate NY and we wanted them... More

I'm not a big gambler but my wife like the slot selection. It is an attractive casino and has windows overlooking the river which made it nicer than most casinos.

We were visiting Pittsburgh and our friends that are from the area convinced us to visit this casino. The clients were ghetto fabulous and the place seemed run down. Definitely makes me appreciate Vegas and the Indian casinos that we havein Cali.

I don'[t even gamble but the restaurants there are great, esp. the buffet. Free parking and short walk to the science center along a beautiful river walkway. The also have very nice free concerts outside in the summer. Make sure you ride the escalator to the second floor for great views, even if you are not doing the buffet. Get... More

Just like with any casino the cigarette smoking within is always a given. However, for some reason the cigarette smoke here was unbearable. We toughed it out and sat at the BlackJack table where of course we didnt stand much of a chance to win hahaha. Overall, its pretty much what you see is what you get. My hair smelled... More

This isn't the biggest or best casino but every time I've been here, I enjoyed myself. They have convenient parking. We usually just walk here as we stay right in either the Point Park or North Shore area and it's a really nice walk along the river. The casino itself is laid out pretty well and open. I've been in... More
