There is lots to do in the Strip District and we had fun walking up and down the street seeing all of the ethnic and local flavor. Lots of small shops and markets to check out! Only negative was the very limited hours of most places and not being able to go in to a few places we wanted to.

This is a great place to walk around and shop some unusual places like a fish market, Chinese grocer and trendy stores. Prices aren't as good as when it was a warehouse district with real wholesalers but still reasonable and a fun few hours. Always lots of Steelers, Penquin and Pirates merchandise available from street vendors. Also, some good food... More

There is something for everyone at the strip. You really can't just review it as a whole because there are some horrible places and some excellent places. Thankfully 90% of the shops and eateries are well worth the trip. The best time to visit is early Saturday morning until mid afternoon it will give you hours of fun and it... More

The Strip offers a wide variety of shops form ethnic food stores to buy Italian, Mexican, Polish, Syrian, Chinese and more. There are also a lot of good places to eat, and many other types of shops selling various items such as dried flowers, fresh roasted coffees, teas, clothing, and much more. If you've never been to the Strip, I... More

I haven't been to the strip district for over 10 year so I forgot what a diverse vibrant market district is really is. It is not just a yuppie hang out place to grab a quick bite to eat, although there are plently young adults standing in long lines to eat at the latest "cool" places for brunch. It also... More

If you are a gourmet or simply like ethnic foods, the Strip is the place for you. Saturdays are always hustle and bustle, there are usually different vendors on street. Pennsylvania Macaroni is my favorite store, if you are a cheese fiend this is the place for you.

The Strip District. NOT the seedy part of town (at least during the day). It's a two-street strip of various shops, restaurants and clubs located along the old shipping terminals along the Allegheny river north of the city. You can buy everything from books to exotic foods, donuts to saris and everything in between. The best time to go is... More

The strip district is fun for all ages if you enjoy walking up and down the street. I recommend going on a day with nice weather, but it is more crowded during this time. There are places where you can park for free along the street (normally at one end or the strip) they do fill up fast and I... More

This place is not so clean in term of shopping for groceries but you can find a variety of food from different countries. You could find specialities that you can find anywhere else in the usual groceries. At night, you can can find great nightclubs.

So much fun to visit especially during Steelers Season! Steelers gear for miles and fun funs and shops. Store owners were out of control "giving" nick-nack items to my kids making me want to donate to their business. Primanti Bros is a must eat joint in this location and just an all around family friendly fun place to hang out,... More
