The strip is a place you must visit while in Pittsburgh. Saturday mornings seem to be the best time. There are many good vendors, music along the street, shop are all open. There is definitely something for everyone. There are so many dining options. Lots...More

We loved walking in and out of the funky, yummy shops. If we lived or stayed for an extended time we would love to buy groceries here. We walked to Market Square area from the Strip. Easy walking but might be long walk for some...enjoyed...More

Worth a walk through for Steelers, Penguins and Pirates fear and some ethnic food selections. We always take a quick visit when in the Burgh.

The strip is in the older district of Pittsburgh. Many restaurants and many Steelers sports stores. There are some markets selling fruit, fish market. Interesting to walk around. Probably more fun on weekends

We went to the Strip on a Saturday morning. It was very busy and parking was a bit stressful, and expensive. We weren’t looking for anything in particular but were really surprised that Steeler apparel was really about the only thing offered. You have your...More

This area is a popular stop for everything Steelers. Many shops and stores to buy anything and everything Steelers. Plus, many restaurants with bars for a variety of excellent food choices.

I was there in June for summer vacations from Belgium. On my tour i stopped for 3 days in Pittsburgh,USA. Must say the strip district is not a place to go as a tourist.

People get very excited about this part of Pittsburgh, but it is small compared to similar market areas in bigger cities. I don't really consider it a destination, but it does get very crowded on weekends. Used to be some great food and drink bargains....More

If staying downtown its worth making a walk over to the strip district. There are some cool places to eat and it’s got a very blue collar Pittsburgh sports vibe going on. Some of the food could be better, but it’s not bad.

Checkout Homewood Suites. It’s not on the strip but very close. About 3 blocks away. They have handicapped accessible rooms. And an elevator to get from ground floor to lobby.
