I've been wanting to go to Phipps for around 9 years now. We had a very wonderful time. The lady at check in told us to keep right and it would take you through the conservatory. It was a perfect day when we went the weekend of the 4th of July. I really liked how there was so much to... More

We make repeat visits here. Flower show was awesome. Outdoor gardens a delight. Cafe has great offerings. Cappcino was good. New tropical rain forest enthralling.

I have been to a lot of botanical gardens, this is one of the best that I have visited. It contains a beautiful collection of plants and is extremely kid friendly. The entrance fee is $15 for adults. Take an hour or two to work your way through the various exhibits. Worth the visit and very relaxing.

The displays are a mix of fixed and rotating. Some of the static/fixed gardens were grand. The rotating displays can be fun. We find it a marvelous respite from winter.

We live in the eastern side of PA and we thought that Longwood Gardens is the only place that has such a wonderful display. Wow! Phipps has such a wide variety of displays - from desert to bonsai to edible and butterflies. Actually, besides their beautiful plants, trees, flowers and fountains, I was most impressed with the absolutely gorgeous blown... More

Perhaps it is unfair to live in the nation's capital and compare other museums and gardens to what we have here. With its fantastic reputation, I expected to be in awe, and Phipps did not disappoint. But I was expecting more. There were highlights like the interactive water stations and tropical garden; however, I felt like some of the other... More
