While researching our vacation, I had found that there would be a Chihuly display at the conservatory during our visit. Dale Chihuly is a world renowned glass artist based in Washington. I was so excited since I hadn’t been able to make the exhibit at...More

Two areas at Phipps were closed for special events. No one notified us about the closure of the areas at the time we purchased tickets. Discounts are not offered. So we ended up paying full price for three tickets and didn't see all rooms. Unacceptable!

The Phipps Conservatory is one of Pittsburgh's jewels. My opinion of its Childrens' Discovery Graden is based on my daughter's reaction to it: she never wnated to leve the area and could spend hours, literally, there. I enjoy the cacti and succulent garden, and my...More

This is a beautiful facility and they always keep it well maintained. The flower shows rotate throughout the seasons. This place is a must visit during the Holiday Flower and light show. It is simply spectacular during that show.

This place is amazing! The flowers and displays were incredible. Plus it was decorated for Halloween. We unfortunately got there late in the day , after other sightseeing, and only had about 90 minutes to tour. I'd plan for a few hours.

The Conservatory and Botanical Garden is a beautiful facility. Located in Schenley Park means access is a bit sporty and parking can be a challenge. And the price is pretty steep and they do not participate in any of the museum reciprocal programs; a fact...More

An absolutely wonderful place to visit. My husband and I generally go on a Friday night since it is open until 10:00 p.m. We have a membership now and go to every show.

The Phipps tries too hard to cater to everyone. During our visit they had the flower show that was not very tasteful, Halloween decorations and miscellaneous rooms like the Humpty Dumpty room. The rooms that we enjoyed are the ones that were dedicated to plants...More

Went with a dear friend to see the Christmas flower display. It has never been a disappointment, the inside and outside are always well done. Highly recommend to locals and visitors alike.
