Great place to de-stress!
May 2021
It's so beautiful here! Just so relaxing to walk through all the rooms, and see all the beautiful plants and flowers. My favorite was the Cuba room, so cool!! It just smells and looks so nice and refreshing here, a great stress reducer!

Trolls in the garden now!
May 2021 • Friends
Came here to visit on a Thursday. It wasn't too crowded when I entered at 11AM, but after 1 PM, more people started to come in when I was leaving. I thought this place is pretty interesting, and I am sure my niece and nephews would find the trolls funny. I don't trolls are permanently there, so go when you have a chance.

Fun and safe for the family
May 2021 • Family
Great place to take kids, enjoy outside and look at the beautiful flowers and plants. They currently have a troll theme, where you are greeted by talking trolls, the kids can then look for little doors with drawings and short bios of a troll, with some large trolls throughout the grounds. It kept our small kids entertained. Their Covid protocol is great, you must schedule your time in, hand sanitizers and helpful staff everywhere. They enforce the mask policy amazingly, and make everything a one way path the whole way through. Bravo to this place on their COVID protocol and fun additions for kids!!

Greenery with soothing music, not so many flowers
Apr 2021 • Solo
More green than floral, still a lovely place to spend an afternoon. I arrived in the middle of a week day and was greeted by a lovely older staff member that gave me detailed instructions on how to see a baby pineapple that was finally bearing fruit. I did not look for said pineapple but assume it exists. Not as many flowers as say LongWood Gardens but there are 13 gardens which right now include trolls and some spectacular glass flowers. Great date idea and surrounded by beautiful Schenley Park which is nice for a picnic or dog walk.

This conservatory and botanical garden outshines every other one I've ever visited. Excellent COVID precautions and well worth a repeat visit.

Spectacular Place!

This looks like a movie set. It is stunning all around and a MUST visit location if you are in town. It’s around a 10 minute car ride from the center of downtown and it’s totally worth it! It takes around an hour and a half if you take your time to see everything so it’s a perfect activity to do with friends, family, a date or just by yourself! I can’t wait to visit again!!

Married Here Years Ago for $100! Still Exceptionally Beautiful! But...
Jan 2021
Phipps is an institution in Pittsburgh. At one time it was free to the people of Pittsburgh. Today it'll cost you a pretty penny to walk around for 90 minutes tops. The cafe is really nice as well. The teenage boy at the door will shoosh you away is you don't have a pretty and proper (useless) mask on though. Beware. Nanny-ism is alive and well at Phipps. Still recommend going but bring your oxygen tank - they've fallen for the Covid scam.

Winter Show
Jan 2021 • Couples
We went to the Winter Flower Show: Home for the Holidays on a January Saturday. We were amazed as we are every year! They did an excellent job with social distancing. You feel such a sense of peacefulness as you walk through Phipps. Pittsburgh is so fortunate to have Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens!
