A Wonderful Christmas Display

A great place to visit anytime, but the Christmas floral display and lights is a wonderful addition to the season.

Fun to walk through and see all the Christmas trees and flowers . It's breathtaking to see all the different rooms . Outside is beautiful to walk around also . Grab a hot choc or mixed drink and enjoy the lights .

We go to Phipps a couple times a month and it never gets boring! The displays change quarterly at least; they are creatively designed for children and adults. It's a great place to go in the winter to get out of the cold and a lovely place in the warmer months. Places to sit outside and read if you have... More

I love this place so much, my husband and I are members. It's perfect for a lazy Saturday morning stroll though without the worry of bees. In the spring, they have a butterfly room. They change their displays every month or so, so it's always fresh. The train room also has interesting displays on rotation. A bit of warning: this... More

The Christmas floral show was exquisite this year. The feature was the history of Pittsburgh and the staff and volunteers did an outstanding job. Even though it was crazy crowded on the evening I went we were able to see everything and even get some photos.

It's a great experience to see and learn about so many flowers and butterflies that are attracted to them. The small kids can bring their watering cans to water the flowers. My grandkids have a membership and go there every month. A wonderful place.

This is a great stop over in Pittsburgh. Their Orchid display was beautiful and I couldn't believe how many different rooms we're on my self guided tour. The price is a bit high for an adult but overall I really enjoyed myself.

I've been visiting Phipps several times a year since I was a child. It's a great family activity. The Victorian style glass-domed building is a unique piece of history. Displays and plants are changed four times a year to reflect the seasons. The recent Winter show was delightful as always, showcasing huge decorated Christmas trees, lights, and beautiful varieties of... More

After many visits, we've been impressed by the unique setup as well as beautiful sights of the conservatory. It satisfies all ages (our children, us and our parents), and surprises the visitors with new events. The flowers and nature make a beautiful set up for quality photos to brag about. It will leave you happy and wanting to come back.

There are so many things to do at Phipps. Whether you like butterflies, tropical plants or bonsai trees, the folks who maintain this facility & coordinate events invest the effort necessary to make every visit enjoyable. And the cafe is reasonably priced, offering delicious options for even the most health conscious visitors. Go, turn off your phone, and enjoy! Allow... More
