We spent 3 hours walking through the gardens both inside and out side. The kids were given a list of items to find. There were several play areas for the kids that the enjoyed. There were other activities that we would have partisipated but this was a spare of the moment day trip.

Living in Pittsburgh, the is one of my favorite annual treks. We try to visit at Easter and Christmas. The displays are spectular. Some years the innovative ideas are very funny too (the year they decorated with pink flamingos was so clever!) If you go I suggest early when the open, less crowded. There is on street parking -- but... More

Phipps is a great place to visit anytime throughout the year. Many beautiful rooms of different display. My favorites are the ferns room and the orchids room. Spring flower show is always amazing. During Christmas, Phipps put on beautiful Christmas displays inside and a spectacular light show outside.I come here several times during the year and never got tired of... More

A wonderful place to relax and unwind. Beautiful gardens interspersing flora with statuary and glass sculptures. Definitely worth a visit!

This was our first visit in many years and we were quite impressed. The facility is well-planned and offers a lot for guests to see and do. There are interactive features that we, as adults, enjoyed as much as the kids. We had lunch in the café and it was very good and offered a nice place to relax and... More

I don't know a lot about plants, but I do appreciate all of the lovely rooms at Phipps. Parking is an issue unless you go during the week. I love to visit during the frigid winter it is like a mini- vacation, it's so warm and tropical inside.

Beautiful rooms and arrangements. Always fun for kids when they have the "can you find it". Like a scavenger hunt, find items and check them off the list. They are hidden among the floral displays.

We went to the spring show last year, the one with the wonderful glass sculptures. My friends are from St. Paul and tried to tell me that I should move back there. They stopped that after the visit to the Phipps.

Beautiful, lush, green space under glass. Best in spring and Christmas. Truly a must for any trip to the burg.
