I highly recommend Noble Invention if you’re considering a bike tour! We recently completed a ride of the GAP and C&O, and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Sara worked with us to create a custom itinerary, and she was always quick to adapt to the changing circumstances due to the pandemic. From day one, she was extremely helpful --- always quick to answer any questions or concerns. Every B&B or hotel that was booked for us was unique and outstanding, and our luggage was always waiting for us at every stop. This was an unforgettable trip for us, and we will not hesitate to call Noble Invention for the next one. Thank you, Sara!

We loved our experience with Noble Invention Biking Touring. They made our Great Allegheny Passage (GAP Trail) trip easy and fun. Kelley was awesome from the first call to the last follow-up email, and absolutely all assistance and correspondence ahead of the trip was super fast and super helpful. We had no troubles with accomodations, luggage shuttle, or car service- each was like clockwork daily, along with the B&B and hotel reservations/choices made on our behalf. Trail was very much as described by Kelley, who was knowledgeable about the route and able to answer all my questions before we booked. Materials provided by Noble were very helpful and clear, and their very new app is already a good tool that will get even better with time. It kept us on trail a couple of times in the towns. We were exceptionally pleased and have already recommended to others. THANKS, Noble (and Kelley!) PS- we did the northern route and tackled the hill, which Kelley warned us about, first :)

Noble Invention Bike Touring planned a family-friendly bike tour from Pittsburgh to Cumberland on the Great Allegheny Passage Trail for us. Everything, from initial planning to the final transfer, was planned and executed with the customer's best experience in mind. We opted for bike rentals and luggage transfers, and Noble arranged stays in charming and well-appointed bed and breakfasts at our stops along the trail. This was a full service experience! Noble Invention provided ample information about what to expect, and trip navigation was provided via Ride with GPS - it was very helpful! We highly recommend Noble Invention Bike Touring.

Thank you so much for the kind words and we're so glad you enjoyed the trip. We love having the Ride with GPS app this year, too!

My friend and I nervously signed up for this self guided 150 mile 4 day trip w Sara doing our logistics. She and her business did an awesome job- the itinerary, the places to stay, the app used during ride for location and directions, packing list, etc etc. No glitches. The distances were challenging but rewarding. The fall foliage and scenery was breathtaking. If a bike trip like this is new to you, I wholeheartedly recommend their help. It took the stress of uncertainty in plans away.

We took two trip organized by Noble Invention during the Covid quarantine in the summer and fall 2020 - The GAP trail and the C&O Canal trail. They were different, but both were absolutely fabulous, and we were so grateful to have the advice, guidance, support and advance planning of Kelley and Sarah at Noble Invention, which was why our trips were so successful. We were booked into great B&Bs and hotels, and each place we stayed knew how to cater to trail riders - from providing bike cleaning stations and secure lock-up areas, to delicious breakfasts served promptly before jumping on nearby trails, with recommendations of where to stop on the trail for lunch, where to find bathrooms, sights to be sure to look for, and recommendations for dinners in towns. And the peace of mind provided by knowing we could call Noble for any emergencies that might arise on the trail was priceless. In fact, the very last day of our second ride the weather changed to cold and rainy, and it was a seamless seeming transition to getting picked up with our bikes and driven to DC, rather than just meeting the shuttle in DC. We were so grateful this was a possibility as riding in the cold rain would have been miserable. All the hospitality providers along the way had the nicest things to say about their relationships with Noble Invention, which was clearly to ur benefit. We look forward to future trips booked through Noble Invention.

Wanting to make arrangements to do something with our pandemic driven furlough we contacted Sara Petyk at Noble Inventions to ask about the possibility of a bike trip on the GAP. We are so happy we did. Sara made sure she understood how much riding we were comfortable with and how we prefer to travel and put together a fantastic trip for us on very short notice. While the towns along the trail were beginning to open up, Sara and the team at Noble Inventions provided a great deal of information and recommendations to ensure we were prepared should resources be scarce at any point along the way. As it turned out, we had no problems at all but were well prepared should we have encountered any. What we ended up with was a terrific itinerary resulting in a spectacular 4-day ride on this scenic trail, including 3 overnight stays in beautiful B&Bs all with breakfast included, luggage transportation to the next location, and a shuttle back to our car at the hotel we stayed in the night before our ride began. With all of this taken care of for us, all that was left for us to do was relax and enjoy the amazing scenery and the ride itself. We will certainly be looking for another cycling vacation in the not too distant future (Katy Trail?) and will contact Sara and her team before we do.

Wonderful company, amazing communication and planning. I love that they offer a document so you can plan everything yourself; or they can plan it all for you. We used the full service planning. Noble Invention booked us cute bed-and-breakfast type lodging all along the way, and seamlessly moved our belongings between lodging so that we didn't have to carry our stuff. It felt magically easy and effortless. /// The GAP trail itself is beautiful. Even though we got a lot of rain, the fall colors brightened the way and the hard path is easy to ride. Since Noble booked us great places to stay, it was easy to enjoy a wet day and then get cozy and dry at night. ///The maps and ride notes that Noble provided were awesome, showing the route and where to eat. /// We even had something come up forcing a change of plans midway, and Noble was available to talk by phone and helped us adjust the itinerary and shuttles to accommodate. Everyone at Noble was so kind and helpful at every turn. I hope to go back and do it again with friends!

Nobel Invention did an amazing job organizing our three night four day trip on the GAP. We were always informed and questions were answered throughly, promptly and kindly, an incredible feat as we had lots of questions!! This was our first multi day trip and we came from the North West to try out our biking skills on the GAP.
Nobel had all our B&B's booked, great maps and even a phone GPS and guide along the way. They went the extra mile and booked our rooms in Pittsburgh before and after the trip, even a taxi from the airport! Along the way we shuttled from Ohiopyle to Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater home, arrangements all made through Nobel. This is a must see if you can manage the 42 mile ride that day in time to catch a shuttle.
It was an experience of a lifetime for two 75 plus ladies, and yes we had electric bikes, still we carried our own gear and biked our pants off!!!!

Noble Inventions assisted us with our first GAP ride. Kelley was our customer service rep. She did a great job of working with us to tailor a trip with days less than 30 (+/-) miles. She found nice accommodations along the trail. We asked for a tour of Falling Waters (Frank Lloyd Wright designed home) which was arranged including safe van transfer up a narrow, not bike friendly road. She set up daily baggage transfer which was always at our next inn. She also arranged for Bill's Taxi to shuttle us from Cumberland to Pittsburgh. Communications were prompt and clear. The Ride with GPS app provide by Noble was great. The GAP is a beautiful Rail Trail and Noble Invention did a nice job of helping us enjoy it.

NI provided me with outstanding support on a solo bike tour of the C&O Canal Towpath: Cumberland to DC. They arranged for my accommodations, shuttling to the start, shuttling my luggage from inn to inn, and detailed instructions (including a navigation app). They were extremely responsive to my needs and provided everything they specified. I highly recommend them.
