This state park is about 30 minutes from where we live. It is a great local park. The area is very clean. There are camping areas - nice with showers and restrooms. I have never camped overnight there but have visited friends for "day camping". You can rent several types of water crafts. There is fishing and boating. Many places... More

They have a lot of spots that are mostly wooded. The lake and beach area are really nice. My only complaint would be with so many spots, it can seem crowded.

Our first camping stop on a 3 weeks journey through the USA. Prince Gillitzin State Park is beautiful clean park with huge site. we stayed in Crooked Run Campground, site 067. It's got a nice asphalt platform and fire pit near the back of the site. Also a walking trail behind us which only took us 1 minute to get... More

We visited this area last week when visiting a friend's cabin and I have to say this area is beautiful! The trees were so colorful for the fall season and Glendale lake is so pretty! We took our son fishing here for a few hours. The area is very well maintained and there is no garbage anywhere. There are a... More

Just returned from a few days at this wonderful state park -- We rented one of the 10 Modern Cabins with our dog - cooked on the grill and enjoyed the quiet. There is no TV here but my phone worked very well for keeping up with things, but by the second day I opted not to bother with that... More

We stayed 4 nights in mid October. With our dog in one of the two pet loops. Really nice during the week, until Friday when the weekend crowd arrived. We are from a neighboring state with different pet polices. Pennsylvania has some very restrictive pet polices.IMO. You can only walk your pet in certain areas of the campground. Your not... More

A wonderful place with many activities...boating, swimming and great places to bike and hike! The camp store is exceptional and provides for most every need. The staff and hosts are very helpful and friendly. The only negative is its popularity...on weekends and holidays, the 400+ campsites are packed, but during the week, quite relaxing and peaceful. We really enjoyed our... More

This beautiful lake has something for everyone. It is serene, quiet a great place to relax and get away from it all. The Rangers have educational programs throughout the summer. Lovely picnic and beach areas. They also have cabins available for rent at the lake and numerous trailer rental areas. Every fall they host an Apple Cider Festival that has... More
