Lovely falls, lots of parking, well maintained walks

Walks and trails are all superbly maintained and the views are lovely. Fishing is plentiful and white-water kayaking is mostly advanced.

We live within 30 minutes of Ohiopyle and make a visit several times yearly, especially when we have company visiting. There's plenty to see outdoors and walking/biking trails are excellent. Local shops are a bit pricey but fun to explore.

This waterfall is incredible. I would absolutely not want to go over this fall in a canoe, or anything for that matter. The water just rolls over, and over. Really nice to watch.

We had a great time wandering around the different trails in the park We explored the slide rocks and waterfalls. We went during the week so it wasn't so busy and the leaves were just finishing turning colors. The visitors center is new and very eco friendly.

Not sure why Trip Advisor wants us to review this because Ohiopyle Falls speaks for itself. It's just relaxing and inspiring to view the Falls from all angles. We've been there to raft and bike several times so the one tip we can give you is to cross the bridge from town and hike down to the other side. It's... More

If you are into the outdoors, you would be hard pressed to find a better location. This place has it all. What we like best about this area is that you do not need to be the uber outdoor dude to enjoy the scenic beauty of the area. The viewing platforms of the rapids near the visitor center are extremely... More

Great place for a quick bike ride. It's flat so the ride is easy. The town closes down early even on the weekends.

The Ohiopyle Falls are impressive, as is the interpretive center there. Hiking, fishing, camping, cabins, yurts, mountain biking, horseback riding, kayaking, and winter sports are all available here. This park was lovely, and an outdoor lover’s dream!

We came across this park since we were in the area to tour Fallingwater. Stopped to look around the small town and found that there were several trails starting right at the visitor center area. We enjoyed hiking across both the Low and High Bridges, then down to Cucumber Falls, before returning back to town. We hiked it in the... More

I've been to most of the Pennsylvania State Parks, and this is my favorite. It has many diverse options for relaxation or activity, from hiking around amazing waterfalls, biking the Great Allegheny Passage, exploring the town, visiting tourist attractions, to whitewater adventures. The campground portion is very nice as well, with modern restrooms and sites that are spaced nicely. This... More
